I am skeptical about its small battery. How's the backup? I will mostly use it for Netflix and Youtube and we are talking about several hours of these per day. Will it be good for that? If not, what other Android phone is recommended?

I am planning to buy a phone but can't decide between Iphone SE, Honor P smart and Redmi 4x. I am a big fan of compact phones but considering the Redmi 4x due to its reasonable size. Anyway, after seeing the reviews, Iphone SE ranks higher on my priority but please tell me how's the battery backup? Can it play HD movies and does the Apple store contain as many apps as the Google Play store?

I hate apple iOS but I love this phone.
I wish android and apple would make a hybrid phone and give us best of both worlds.

I use iPhone SE since 2016. I'd say if you can live with 4inch display it is a beast.
Hands down it has better performance than some other 2018 android flagships.

Really its still very useful phone should not be discontinue ever, I replace iphone 6s into iphone se and i am happy with this precious phone.

I used to had the same opinion untill it's in my hand..... now, I am totally happy with the phone.
Yes, I thought it is only a very expenisive girls toy when I played with, at Apple store.
But, once bough it, then set up and installed some applications, it exceeded my expectation. It surely is well designed product.
Only thing I missed from android is, LED indicator.

Things are a little cramped because of a small screen, but the super-fast performance, long battery life, and excellent main camera make it an excellent phone. Service is great, and I have yet to find something I don't like about it (i don't use the selfie camera, which is pretty poor).
You can get one on Straight Talk wireless for $140-$160 US, $55/month unlimited talk/text/data. Strong recommend.
