I have had both the s7 and se, in fact I've got an se again after selling my huawei p20 pro, the se is more work friendly when you're not meant to have a phone at work :-)
but yes both se and s7 perfectly good phones, but if camera is your main aim then the samsung will probably be a better choice.

Just wait until next day & see if it went back to normal. Mine had the same issue on the first day, now it's fine.

My wife is using my iPhone SE and we just updated it to iOS 12 and she is still getting her typical excellent battery life from the phone. I'm on my 6s and I'm still getting about the same battery life as I had in iOS 11 as well.

Just here to support iPhone SE. Been using for 2.5 years now & still works great! Able to run latest high end games on High Settings. Comparatively load apps & games faster than most of Android phones (noticed when playing coop games with Android phones). Definitely the best 4 inch phone in the market!

iOS 12 speeds up apps launch on iSE (based on my own experience, Android already achieved this in their earlier versions)
Battery usage as good as iOS 11 after 24 hours.
