I bought an used SE, replaced the battery and it works with no issues but one odd thing I noticed is gold home button on the rose housing. Imei matches on the housing and touch id works as well so I don't know how did this come to be. 🤔

Mine is 5 years old. Screen replaced, battery replaced 3 times. Screen is about the die, top of the screen is yellow and back panel started to divide. I put it to the powerbank 1-2 months before at night. In the morning, he was gone. I had 4 phones before, all of them is working without replacing any parts(just one of them has new battery and this one), even 20 years old nokia is still working, android flagships are working. this one has gone.
Rust in peace, I won't do same mistake.

I've been using it since 2018. At first, it was better. Battery life is about 1.5 days. After a couple of months usage, top of the touch screen started to not recognize touch. Service replaced the screen.
One day, ios updated and battery life down to half a day. Apple service said that battery is above 81%, that means it's healthy. Then I replaced battery, became better but I noticed that it's about update. Device is draining the battery after update.
Screen is 3 years old(after replacement), top bar is yellowish about a year.
Couple of days ago, I got up in the morning, it's totally gone. Recovery, force start, battery replacement didn't work.
Second worst phone I've ever had.

Animo, 27 Dec 2022Hello I want a secondary compact phone should i go for iPho... moreHey brother

I just bought one on eBay for 35$
I have used my daughter's before and I also have used a 6s and I believe that they are the exact same phone.
If you can find one for under 40 or 50 dollars then it's absolutely worth it because it has the second to newest ios
That means that you can dl all the apps that a newer one can. If I remember correctly the 6s is just a tad bit better but the experience is the same. You're only spending 40 or so dollars so f it, if you find one pull the trigger
I hope this helps you out and happy new years 😊!

Animo, 27 Dec 2022Hello I want a secondary compact phone should i go for iPho... moreThe 6s and SE have almost identical hardware, so it depends on whether you want a 6s or a 6s that looks like a 5s. Be aware that on a 16GB model you'll likely run out of space pretty quickly. My 64GB model says that iOS itself takes up almost 7GB of space so on a 16GB model you'll be left with less than 9GB of space, though if you don't plan on using it for storing local files you'll be fine. Also, an 85% health battery will likely last around half a day even with light use.

It's a cheap iPhone in an expensive iPhone business with good iOS compatibility (although the battery is not good ) but don't judge its small size, it's a beast that can get you far!

Loved using this phone. Had it for around four years and it never really let me down (besides battery). But a quick replacement had it up and running like a beast again. Loved how long it had support for updates and loved it's small size compared to phones nowadays that are too gigantic to simply put in your pocket. Honestly the best budget iPhone and overall best iPhone I've ever used.

Still a pocket beast! perfect for one handed use and typing..after replacing the battery it's giving a decent backup

Ricci319, 07 Dec 2022I personally still love this little phone! I have a sealed ... moreI happen to have a mint/unused space gray 128GB one lying around…
