And yes I agree megapixels size is not important in a camera. I believe individual mobile camera tech are very subjective and very unique to each one but it is how one utilizes it and optimizes the software.
For example the camera quality of a person sitting in a chair in low-light in front of a bar may bring out sharper details with a background photo more resolved with less purple/orange fringing (SE) than that of say an Xperia X Compact or Moto G4 Play despite those two Android phones having "superior" camera tech.

for focus, you have to look at the individual technologies the phones use. This is nothing to be decided by a spec sheet
the wider the aperture, the better. This means that the number behind the f has to be smaller, so f/1.7 is better than f/1.9
The least indicating factor about camera quality is the resolution in Megapixels, but It seems like that's something you already guessed.

Iphone SE supports live photos. It's perfect for moving objects.
Music from earpods is great like every other iPhone.
This is high quality made phone at midrange price. Apple never compromises quality. Yes design is from 2012 but it's so classic. The last phone designed by the great mind of Steve Jobs.

Trying to compare this phone to a similarly priced, mid-range Android iike the G5 Plus....
Talking about the cameras of these phones...Am i correct in saying a smaller micron pixel, dual focus and smaller aperture mean a camera is better "overall" in speed/performance & low light?
Is PDAF feature sufficient enough in daily photos whereas laser autofocus is good for faster moving objects & faster shots in general?

Wow.. this is my second SE and I have the new iPhone X and iPhone 7 Plus and other top notch androids... I just bought it two days ago, battery was dead when I took it out oof two years box grave, it took a while to accept charging, but it accept the full charge in less than 4 hours. Then I did all the restoration, downloading, registrations and updating to iOS 11.2 which took over night.. now and after two days of this tough use, I still have 20% battery left... I can’t believe it. AMAZING !!! This little thing is a monster but show-off users definitely wont recognize it.

But what Apple did was nonsensical to most consumers and it's considered as an unethical business act. For now I’ll live with the SE still, and see how things will go in the year to come.

people please beware its been on news one week before christmas that in the software updates apple is doing something to ur battery do it can cope with the performance and ur battery wont last as long as normal. please read about this on google im never buying an apple phone again con artists!!!!! i never paid for a lowered battery performance
