ok this phone is not totally worth it because for $100 more, u can get a brand spankers iphone 11 which has the same chipset, more performance, better screen, best in class cameras and just a better phone all around. It is a great value for the price, but for $100 more, its win win win all the way with the 11

This is my next smartphone soon God willing, this decade alone I've used Blackberry for 2 years that's 2011 to 2013 then I jumped straight to android till now it's been 7 years using it, can't wait to migrate to iOS. 🤲🏾

After 9 years using Android devices, I thought "why not ?" and bought an iphone SE 2020. I was looking for a compact, realiable and powerfull device with very long OS support. In essence, I was tired of buying a new device every 2 years (or less).
Besides the obvious reasons (very very fast, iOS is awesome, great camera, etc) here are other things that surprised me:
        1. Battery life - I don't play games on it (not a fan), so it easily lasts the whole day
        2. Screen - comming from a device with AMOLED screen, it was a concern, but this a high quality LCD, so it's just fine.
        3. Touch ID is a blessing compared to those half baked under the screen fingerprint scanners.
        4. Sound quality is great

Mat, 06 Nov 2020In long run will it be a problem In the long run you can transfer older photos to a PC or upgrade iCloud from standard 5GB to 50 GB, which is very cheap. Now, if you take a lot of pics and shoots a lot of vids, go for 128gb or 256gb options. Black Friday is just 3 weeks away.

Rose, 07 Nov 2020Thank youIPhone 12 mini starts at 699 while the SE 2020 I‘ve seen then going around at 320-350 on marketplace brand new sealed. But better put another 50 and buy it from shop. So even if you buy it at 400 it’s a big difference between them in price, and I think the difference to IPhone 12 mini it’s not worth it. If you are worried about battery life get a 18w fast charger and an usb c cable it will charge really fast. Also if you are away all day from home you can get a power bank. Anyway if you are using the phone intensely it doesn’t matter which phone you are using it will run out of juice eventually.

Despite the small size of the battery, A13 chip and iOS are very power eficient. I don't play any games on it (never was a fan of gaming on a phone) and it easily lasts between 1 to 1,5 day for me.

I love Apple's optimization on their iPhones. That makes their devices surprisingly last a day even with a smaller battery capacity. But 1821mAh battery is just too small these days. If you want small phones better yet go for the iPhone 12 mini. Better battery, display, specs and almost identical in size. Sure the price is a huge difference but it is worth it. Still up to you though.

Mat, 06 Nov 2020In long run will it be a problem In the available 64gb device you could store around 13000 12mp pictures ideally, let's say you download some small apps and updates you could have 9-10K pictures in the phone before storage ran out. Video is a different matter of course.

You could take 2000 12MP pictures a year and not run out of storage in 5 years.

I don't know anyone that takes 2000 pictures a year and keep all in the phone.
