Kind of my whole point, you can pick a dud easier in the android ecosystem than with apple, no need to prove that, is just enough to look at these forums, android 10 updates have left severe headaches, time wasted and issues in the devices of users.. that should not be, manufacturers of cheap phones simply don't put enough resources to provide a good update experience to their customers.

But the phone still works fantastic and battery is my point . I dont know why people rave on about updates with apple, not app updates software i mean?. I'm not sure i want things changed so much so often anyhow.

been using it for a month. it’s a good phone indeed. the battery is not that bad. new features on health app really helps during this kind of days where we need a health support asap in case of terrible things happen. phone is snappy, speakers are decent (top speaker has low frequency focus, bottom speaker has mid and high freq focus with some algorithm tweak it sounds balance when you use the phone on landscape mode), performance is great, battery kinda meh but it’s now work from home time so it’s not a problem, camera is quite good, and it feels so comfortable in your hand because it’s not that big so you can grip it while you’re doing your house work without worrying it will fall from your hand. overall it’s a nice phone. glad i bought this, i get flagship experiences from a cheap phone

Android is for those who want everything for free or impossibly cheap even if that means devices plagued with issues, bad updates, phoney specs, bad support, bad software, massive lack of data security, ads. I suppose that's zero compromise in your view.

You see you have to try your luck to get a phone that won't give you trouble with android and the real test is after you do your first update, if by any chance the phone worked fine an update will take care of that and leave you ready for a new phone. Maybe samsung will be the safer bet in the android world.

Sorry, you might be comfortable with compromises, most people aren't.
There's a reason why 80% people prefer Android.
I am part of a zero compromise ecosystem. Not going to downgrade to useless 4.7 inch mickey mouse Lcd screen.
