Bigger batteries dont mean it will wear down slower lol....it just means you may be able to get away with tolerating wearing down for a bit longer (dunno how much tho).

There is a speculation that Apple intentionally made this iphone model with bad cellular connectivity in order for people to buy more expensive models after being frustrated with this model.

I don’t know about this but I do know that no other iphone has cellular issues like this phone. Iphone 11 also has also 2 antennas (instead of 4 antennas) just like this phone but doesn’t have any cellular issues and has perfect 4g speeds , connected to T-Mobile network in Manhattan.

This iphone SE had cellular issues with IOS 15.4 Out of the box and continues having these issues after I updated to 15.5

All iPhones SE 2022 have cellular issues (no issues with Wi-Fi), period!
Me and my friend both got this iphone SE in Manhattan a week ago and in some specific blocks of Brooklyn and Manhattan the phone gets 3-8 Mbps speeds in one block and 200-300 Mbps the next block. All while being connected to T-Mobile’s excellent Midband 5g.

It’s only this phone model because iphone 11, 12pro and 13 pro all have excellent
4g and 5g speeds in the same areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Obviously this phone has a hardware flaw where it doesn’t connect to the right bands or doesn’t have the same modem as iphone 13 and 13 pro, despite being advertised as the same. And of course no major technology review site will mention these issues with
                        Iphone SE 2022.

Anonymous, 28 May 2022No headphone jack on a budget phone? Wtfeven flagship phones nowadays ditched the audio jack, so you have to resort to wireless headphones. or if you want to stay wired get a usb c to audio jack adapter.

even your 50MP gimmick looks worse than iPhone's 12MP.
battery life is short if you dont use them properly.
design-wise, they look like iphone 8. just better insides. dont even judge it.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2022Apple have the marketing and specs for this phone all wrong... moreThe A15 isn't there so that you can play fortnite and pubg on the bus, the A15 is on the SE so that 7 years from now it can run the latest version of iOS without lagging.

Moreover, you need the A15 because its fundamentally (instructions per clock) a lot stronger and therefore, needs less power to run the tasks at the same level of performance as the A13 or a Snapdragon 855, you need the cpu to be able to perform without needing much juice if you're limited to a mere 2000Mah Battery, this is also the reason why the brightness is so low and the resolution is so "low".

It was designed with the goal of aging well, Apple knows that the people who buy these phones are very likely to keep it for 5, 6 even 7 years.

Jemlim, 18 Apr 2022so you want a terribly small 4.7" screen? you're ... moreHow is he wrong? what do you mean by "weirdo" ? Samsung kept under 6" until the Galaxy S9 and once the S10 became 6.1" they launched the S10E right next to it sitting at 5.8".

Apple always has a sub 6" device, and thank god, they still make sub 5" too.

The reason Androids arent launching sub 6" isn't because they think its a niche market, they are not launching those because optimizing for Android is a lot more difficult than optimizing for iOS and a smaller phone will inevitably have a smaller battery, the Snapdragon, Exynos and Helios are much less efficient than the A13, A14 and A15.
Android today, with its powerful set of many features, requires a lot of juice to run, the ipc's on the cpu's of android phones is considerably weaker than the A15 , therefore, if you made Android 12 or soon, Android 13, run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on a 2200Mah battery, you are going to have a ROUGH scandal, only google and Samsung could afford to develop a proper android rom for their own respective proprietary chipsets to be able to get a good 6 hours of Screen on Time on a sub 2200Mah battery, but they have already spread their developer teams too thin with other hardware.

Make no mistake, the 4.5" - 5.5" market is hard to tackle, but potentially, packs the greatest yield over time.

Rosso, 25 May 2022Yeah I highly doubt it considering that's same SOT tha... moreThe 12 Pro Max was pushing a much higher resolution, on a much larger screen, feeding more ram, and had a less efficient CPU.

The SE 2022 is essentially, easy peasy for the A15, you put the strongest and most efficient CPU on the planet inside a very basic phone, you shouldn't need a big battery to have more than decent Screen-On Time.
