People who want a great phone at a great price should act fast and buy a used X now, i recently bought 2 of them and one was almost brand new with 256GB and i paid less for it than the official price of 64GB Xr. We will soon see dissatisfied Xr owners who will regret not going for a used X, same as those unfortunate people who bought a new iPhone 5c instead of used iPhone 5 some years back.
Do yourselves a favour and do not get Xr, the X is still the worlds 3rd best phone by a landslide and the Xr will barely be holding on to the 4th place.

China vendors trying Prices up to. Everyone try to push up. And now for example Apple as vendor always charged more since they started 1976-1977. Ohhh no one knows those dates because lots of readers havent born in those years to understand what they done. Anyway need to remember that 1st iphone done influence to the smarthphone market. And latest influence the notch. Ok they wasnt 1st vendor released, but they did huge influence to market after releasing notched device. Now most devices notched bahhhh. And I wonder if the no 1 a competitor Samsung will release s10 "notched" as device or not :) hope not ! cheers.

There are far better marketing gimmicks than alluring iFans with literary terms tryina cover up for lack of specs and actual high end figures. Try harder, atleast make it worth the 1500$ tag.

People used to think that ten cores were for power...
They weren't...
They were there for stability.
Despite rumors, have you ever seen a Helio X20 with CPU throttling (in reality or on video)?
I test it and run the ten cores during 10minutes with only 6% performances drop (Vernee Apollo lite)...
With the same 20nm process from tsmc, SD810 can't carry 8 cores during 2 minutes. Even some quadcores aren't that stable.
Instead of increasing number of cores, Apple (and Samsung) increases Instructions Per Cycle, it's the same : calculate instructions in parellele when it's possible (not that often)...that doesn't work better...singlecore benchmarks grow, not speed of device.
Agree about QHD screens...but not fullhd! If on pictures and videos, it's difficult to see differences between 300dpi and 400dpi, on texts (webbrowsing), difference is clear.
Problem of XR isn't the HD screen it's HD screen for 850€. In Shenzhen, you can find fullhd 400dpi screens on devices that cost less than 100€!

So, first of all, I am an apple user since last year (8+).
A bit of history:
- Samsung Galaxy S
- Samsung Note 4
- LG G4
- Blackberry Passport
- Huawei Mate 8
- Iphone 8+
Conclusion:
My favourite by far was the square Blackberry Passport! Second on the list was the Mate8 and third is the 8+.
Why?
1. BB had an amazing feeling of quality, and the combination between physical keyboard, trackpad-like keyboard area, great battery life, and style is still unbeatable. Even if it's a defunct OS, I will get one for a good price just because of the security and simplicity of the OS.
2. Huawei was the best Android phone I owned, regular updates, unparalleled smoothness for android, amazing battery life, stayed really cool under heavy loads! and yes, it was a 1080p 6 inch device! Had no problem with that, even small text was crisp.
3. I bought the 8+ because i accidentally dropped the Mate8 and broke the screen (the replacement screen was taking 2-3 weeks...). So i purchased the 8+ 256GB for 950€. Yes it's expensive, but not more expensive than android phones with the same capacity. So far it works well, just as expected. Fast, smooth, good battery life. There is no wow factor about it, it's just very reliable and feels good in hand (pretty big hands here).
some key facts for all the blind people: specs are just numbers! just as these features from ios are just marketing, it's the same thing for android! specs on android phones are pure marketing. What's the point of having 10 or more cores if they will never be able to work under sustained load for long? Or why praising a 4k screen on a 6 inch device? Have you seen a 4k TV? Yes, the same f*****g resolution some of you have in the pocket. How does this help you? do you think there is a difference between a 1080p and 4k in 6 inches screens? maybe if you look with a magnifier, but that defeats the purpose of watching a video on your phone. etc.
I could write a lot more on this topic but the point is: myself, as a lot more users, didnt buy the iphone for status, I graduated high school more than 12 years ago. So, whenever I buy something it must work as expected. And with the 8+ i get 5 years or more SW updates, which is not applicable for Android. SW development is expensive, it just doesnt drops out of the sky.
So all of you trolls complaining that it is expensive and so on, go buy your 300€ phones and change them every year. I dont care what phone you are using. You are TOXIC people! most of the comments here are not constructive, as it should be in a civilized discussion. I assume most of you are just kids, bragging about your 12492304823423454 cores and 123423 TB RAM you have in your pocket.
Let me put it this way: I dont give a damn about what you have in your pants! Yes you heard me well, i dont care what you have in your pockets and I dont care about your junk either! SO, IF YOU MAKE A D***K MEASURING CONTEST OUT OF EVERYTHING, GO TO A DEDICATED FORUM FOR THIS!
I dont usually do this, but these trolls need to face the facts. I kinda trolled the trolls now ;)

Everyonw are grusging on the low PPI screen, in fact it is 828p,not 720p, a 108 more pixels squeezed into the display, this is because the screen size increased to about the size of 5", but all screen display with aspect ratio of 19.5 :9 makes the screen goes to 6.1", but remain the PPI of 326, which still cannot discern the individual pixels. This is just like the Android implementation of 1080p and 2k screen, 1080p screen is actually much more than enough, even up to 7" screen, still remain 323PPI and won't able to discern single pixels. 2K actually are overkill on an smartphone screen.
