iphone XR vs Galaxy A8:
A8 Octacore, xr hexacore. A8 4gb ram, xr 3gb. A8 16mp, xr 12mp. A8 card slot, xr no card slot. A8 dual sim, xr single sim. A8 screen AMOLED, xr LCD. A8 1080 x 2220p, xr 828 x 1792. Weight A8 172g, xr 194g. A8 earphone jack Yes, xr No.
Price A8 $350, xr $750. You decide what to buy, I love A8 which I bought after selling iphone x. It looks like after few years it will be hard for iphone to survive/compete if they don't offer better prices to their customers. XR should be maximum $500. In my opinion sales can be increased only if you have something better to offer, if it's not better then the price should be less than the competitors, here iphone is doing opposite. Brand consciousness is decreasing now where there is so much innovation going on in the market and the competitors are dominating.

they have to get out of their way to put a low resolution display in this one. that's quite sad due to the A12 SoC which is overkill for the resolution

There is nothing wrong with the specs of this phone.
If this phone comes with a GIgabit internet modem, then it’s worth buying it.
The modem speeds are more leasted under the LTE section for some reason.

According to apple's presentation, the XR does NOT have the 120hz display. Please update the specs.

Hello,Apple!At least use FHD+ but this one 6.1@ HD+.Apple always strong on new SOC n IOS only.Nothings can giving u guy more than that.So boring to use against.I will sold my SE n 6S Plus on next week.I will buy Huawei p 20 pro @ pearl white(LE).

I like that they went for 120Hz for the displays, camera looks to be on the Pixel level, or even above, finally some decent Screen to Body ratio for mainstream phones. Good job, Apple, desperate times bring good results, Android now has a lot of catching up to do.
I've never actually owned an iPhone myself, but I've used for a good while through many iterations.
