Why should anyone buy new battery when they aren't original even if they have apple logo, in evry city you can send your old battery to they renew her after that it's few times better than it was when phone was new open from box...

Shame the design went so in the wrong direction after this, with big heavy boxy designs and massive camera bumps. The 11 Pro was still good but I think the glossy glass was better. Since the 12 Pro it‘s bad. The only iPhone with a good design in 2023 is the iPhone SE because it has the rounded lightweight design, glossy glass and a camera bump that is small enough to not stand out with a case. Sad that it seems like this will be replaced too in 2024 with a brickPhone.

If you compare just the phones, then it is worth it. But try to find something with better battery health. Or, take in consideration that you need to pay extra for battery change (in 6 months time maybe).
86% is not very bad, but is not very good either. Also, iPhone Xs didn't had a very good battery life to begin with. With 86%, you will probably have 3-4h of SoT per day. If this is enough for you, then go and buy it. For me, is not enough. Because these older iPhone models take longer to charge than iPhone 12, 13, 14 for example.
As an advice for people who have similar ideas (to buy an older iPhone model, second hand or refurbished), I will suggest minimum iPhone 11 series models. Best will be minimum iPhone 12 series. Yes, it is a little more expensive, but it is 100% worth it.

Done my research and if you want to change into apple, you better go with the least iphone 13 mini if you don't want a downgrade. However, this is my personal opinion based on personal research.
