Why not make iphone x waterproof? All that money invested into iphone x and now it's discontinued not very bright if you ask me

Its great but no need to upgrade from iPhone X, with iOS 12 upgrade people will not be able to tell if they are holding an X or an Xs.
It seems like it was wise to discontinue the X, or else people would just buy that instead of Xs to save 100 dollars. The Xr is the new iPhone 5c, it comes in too many cheap looking colors and makes people want to shell out for the far more classy looking Xs. However this time the "new 5c" will be very successful and the Xr will eat into Xs sales.

Wow such an amazing phone, Apple is such a great company, they are making great devices, cheap too. I mean look, it has buttons, it has speaker, and just 1150 euro.
Is a bargain people, get them now why you still can.
I will buy two at least. I will be so envied this Christmas by everybody.
Who needs apartment or car when you can have Iphones.

I was planning to get X (due to price drop after this event).... but i am concerned why they discounted iPhone X...and in case i am upgrading in a year or two i wont get a good amount... anyone please guide.. shall i still go for X
