I bought a used xs max. I searched the serial number on (check coverage.Apple.com) and it says “ We’re sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us”
And the model number starts with M. My question is “is the phone going to work fine? Am I going to get new updates? What am I going to miss and what can happen to the phone.

I bought this used xs max in Feb. 2021 with the BH of 92. Now after almost 4 months of normal to heavy use it’s BH is still 92. This shows there is no decline in the BH. Whereas I have learnt from my friends and read it as well that BH drops pretty quickly on iOS. Is it normal?

Nelson, 14 May 2021Replace the battery and you would be probably fineIndeed! I bought also a used one with battery percentage at 87%.Used for 10 days and then i replace it with a new one and works perfectly!
