Phone Reviewer, 16 Apr 2019When you compare this phone with Android phones like Huawei... moreChipset is definitely not better on Android, overall performance is not better on Android(read even here the comparison they made between XR and S10e, the iPhone is still more responsive and better an multitasking management), support is better on iPhone, handling is arguably better on the iPhone, only the camera department lags behind by at least 6 months on the iPhone.

Your opinion depends on the android phone you operated on in the past. I'll admit ios is very good in terms of optimisation but most android oem's are catching up. Take example, the likes of oneplus. I dropped Samsung, LG etc then switched to oneplus 6 mainly cos it offers the same feel as ios and I can attest I've never had any random lag or crashes.

After the hell I've gone through with my new Samdung Galaxy S10+
- Battery life is horrible 3 hours
- Screen flickeron wake up and app switch
- Extreme Lag on even WhatsApp
- Overheating
- unreliable display fingerprint sensor (very)
- Bad display color
I recommend the great iPhone XS MAX to everyone and anyone looking to invest in a phone that will work well and receive support for years.

D45, 20 Apr 2019100% it sucks. Ive had mine for 6 months, havent downloaded... moreAnother thing, my phone keeps losing signal and dropping calls.
Ive realised thats cos they use the inferior INTEL chips, never had this problem on mY samsung S7 cos they use the Quallcom chips.
COME on apple, pay the fees!

Phone Reviewer, 18 Apr 2019But it still sucks100% it sucks. Ive had mine for 6 months, havent downloaded any apps on it and it is so slow and lags so much.
the screen keeps flickering cos Apple cant optimise the OLED screen and goes down to around 20% battery after 2 hours of use.
Horrible.
Gonna upgrade to the Note 9 or S10 plus.

Phone Reviewer, 20 Apr 2019What is that supposed to meanIt means I agree with you that the iPhone Xs max is the best smartphone.
My Galaxy s10+ is already very slow and lagging. The battery dies only after about 3 hours of use. The screen flickers on wake or switching apps. The display fingerprint is horribly unreliable.
The iPhone is clearly the best

This is the best phone in the world!
My Samsung S10+ is so slow and lagging now and screen is flickering with imbalance no matter the settings.
Apple products are the best. Im sure they are researching to improve their foldable so it won't be a failure like the Samdung rip off

When you compare this phone with Android phones like Huawei and Samsung of the similar price and you look at places like display, camera, chipset and battery android is better, which means Android is pretty much better overall. IPhone is just too overpriced and ios makes me feel like they locking me up in jail.

dustindust, 15 Apr 2019Akuma,
How can you advise the individual wanting to know... moreActually I need to modify my comment below. Upon looking at the specs I just sent, I can see how one might discern the two phones are on par with one another.....if you had no idea about what the performance of each. Below are the performance tests...on each the higher the score, the better.
GeekBench 3(single-core):
Tests the speed of the single custom CPU core
Samsung S7 Edge: 2158(Exynos 8890)
IPhone XS Max: 4777
GeekBench 3(multi-core):
Tests the speed of all 8 cores
Samsung S7 Edge: 6630
IPhone XS Max: 11432
Antutu 6: 129629
Tell all test on performance of CPU, GPU, RAM
Samsung S7 Edge: 129629
IPhone XS Max: 353210
GFX 3.1 Manhattan:
Tests graphics
Samsung S7 Edge: 29
IPhone XS Max: 99
GFX 3.1 Manhattan(onscreen):
Tests onscreen resolution
Samsung S7 Edge: 15
IPhone XS Max: 60
I don't know anything about cameras. I see that both are 12MP, but put against the Galaxy Note 9, the IPhone XS Max edged it out in most categories. It therefore can be assumed that the Note 9 improved on the Samsung S7 Edge's camera thus giving the IPhone XS Max the edge in the camera category as well. The only thing that is superior on the S7 Edge is the battery life.
