With quarter price and amazing spec... moreHell no, that phone will get like 1 year of software updates, and he/she plans on keeping it for a long time, then there is no other option than an iPhone. Also, Huawei or Honor phones have a horrible software experiences, and software is just as important as hardware, so I would not recommend to buy it INSTEAD of the iPhone XS Max

That phone is amazing for sure, but an 8+ is like half the price and still very solid, just missing some goodies like bezel less screen and FaceID. Still, it's your decision

I don't have the actual phone in my hands just yet, but I plan to purchase the phone very soon. I have been reading alot of reviews about the phone, and I must say that I'm very impressed. I love the large screen, and I plan on purchasing the phone in silver, I had seen it on the apple website, and it looks so gorgeous!!! I can hardly wait to try it out, and I believe that this will be my very last and final upgrade for a long time. Apple phones are super!!!!!
I will take very good care of it just as I have done so with previous phones that I have had.
I realize its a large expense, but I'm willing to take a big chance on this. I just may end up
buying the phone at the corporate store here in my hometown.
