The iPhone XS Max is a good device,. Has a good camera, large display, great OS and fluid software. What's lacking is VALUE! Not only is it the most expensive device on the market, users find themselves locked into the Apple Ecosystem and Proprietary Hardware which is a huge source of Apple's overall profit. When a user desires carefree warranty coverage they need to make an additional purchase for AppleCare. By the time you purchase the device, add tax, AppleCare, proprietary accessories you'll be out of pocket at or over $2,000.00 USD. Then you stuck with a device with limitations on apps and music options. Nor can you flash the device with a Custom ROM which allows users the ability to tweak their devices to exactly what they want in a device. When compared to the feature rich Galaxy S9 Plus at under $700.00, whether you favor android or not, there is no comparison in VALUE!

Because if you did you would forget about fingerprint. faceID is so fast and reliable and convenient that FingerID feels like a bad memory from simpler times, the times before apple invented the future with FaceID. Theres absolutely NOTHING bad to say about FaceID, its a completely seamless experience.

I forgot to mention that this iPhones battery absolutely does not last any longer than on previous iPhones. I’ve been typing an email for 20 min and the battery went down from 85% to 65%. All other apps (except maybe MTA subway app) were closed.
I don’t expect any better and I know that we will always need to carry a power bank with us until there is a new technology instead of Lithium.
I knew that the promised boost in a battery based on a 7nm processor technology is an advertisement gimmick. Regardless , I really love this phone.

Update:
The more I use it , the more I’m getting to like it and happy that I switched from Galaxy Note Note 8. By the way, there are no major cons with android phones nowadays, so I can comfidently recommend Samsung or OnePlus phone to people as well.
There are some minor cons of course which I will list:
PROS:
- The best smooth design of any phone ( no curved screen, and bazels of the phone located evenly , unlike on Samsung or other phones where they leave the bottom bazel bigger than the side bazels )
-Gigabit internet is now finally just as fast as on top android phones
-IOS Is definitely smoother than Android
a) There are way less web pages that jump or don’t display properly comparing to Android but they certainly still exist on IOS system as well
b) IOS Doesn’t allow third party apps like WhatsApp or Viber to create duplicate contacts in your phone book , which is how android phones should be but they are not
CONS:
-Usb 2.0 comparing to usb 3.1 on top Android phones (a little annoying slow file transfer speed)
-As always improperly programmed signal indicator which often shows 2 bars when the actual signal is 80% or 100%. Apple must finally address this issue and reprogram signal indicator software so it would show 4 bars when the signal is -45 Dbm or -50 Dbm

Best phone for every users, After using a few days I found that:
1-Best camera front and rear
2-Battery is better
3-Screen is better (6.5” is the best for me with better resolution)
4-best shape design
5-Gold color is very cute but silver is attractive too (that is why I bought both)
One thing I dissatisfy is phone accessories

I wanted Apple to have a fingerprint sensor in the display the same way some Oppo, Vivo, etc phones are now starting to do. I dislike FaceID and passcodes are not convenient. Hopefully Apple considers adopting the technology for next year's iPhones.

It is because of price and features comparison... If you ask me, iPhone XS vs iPhone XS Max , i will prefer iPhone XS

Apple does not need the RAM Androids needs, nor the battery size either.
iOS is tailor made to the inner core of coding to be optimised as much it can be with its hardware. It runs efficient, fast and smoothly.
Android has become so heavily fragmented over the years and needs to be adjusted to many different chipsets. It can never work flawlessly as iOS does.
But i don´t use Apple. I dislike their marketing ethics and closed ecosystem. Been on Android for many years and find it superior to iOS. Not by performance, but by flexibility and the freedom it provides.

"First thing, apple has horrible security." That's not true, even as a Android user I hate to admit it but it's true.
"Second the screen breaks as soon as you drop it." Have you watched ANY drop test of the phone ? It doesn't break as soon as you drop it.
"Third the iPhone X is the same as the iPhone xs max the one thing different about it is that it is only bigger." THEY HAVE DIFFERENT CPU. The 3 models has the same internals except in the screen and camera department, performance wise, on paper XR should be the fastest, but that doesn't make them X.

Only You-Tubers saying this new iPhone have Gorilla Glass 6
But in GSMArena or anywhere else written as Scratch-resistant glass, Oleophobic coating
