Apple Maps now available on the web (in beta)

Nearly twelve years after its initial launch on iOS, Apple Maps is now available on the web in beta form. Apple announced its expansion with a short press release and you can now try out Apple Maps on your Mac or PC by heading to beta.maps.apple.com from your browser. It’s currently supported on Safari, Chrome, and Edge on Mac and Windows.

The experience is identical to that on iOS and you can search for addresses, get driving and walking directions as well as information on businesses like phone numbers, working hours, and payment options.

Look Around which is the Street View alternative on Apple Maps and other Apple Maps features available on mobile are coming to the web version in the coming months. Apple is also working on bringing Apple Maps to more regions, additional browsers, and platforms.
