Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One all got more expensive today
Apple is definitely not fighting against inflation today by raising the prices for three of its services, thus creating some inflation of its own. We're talking about Apple Music, Apple TV+, and the Apple One bundle, which have all gotten more expensive.
Apple TV+ will increase by $2 per month (if you pay monthly) or $10 per year (if you pay yearly). The new prices are $6.99 per month or $69 per year.
Apple Music's price hike is $1 for individuals and $2 for families, thus the new prices are $10.99 per month for the individual plan and $16.99 per month for the family plan.
Finally, the Apple One bundle, which includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple News+, and Apple Fitness+, is going up by $2 for the individual plan (now $16.95 per month up from $14.95), $3 for the family plan (now $22.95 per month up from $19.95), and also $3 for the Premier plan (now $32.95 up from $29.95).
An Apple spokesperson provided TechCrunch with the following statement regarding the price increases:
The subscription prices for Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One will increase beginning today. The change to Apple Music is due to an increase in licensing costs, and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music. We also continue to add innovative features that make Apple Music the world’s best listening experience. We introduced Apple TV+ at a very low price because we started with just a few shows and movies. Three years later, Apple TV+ is home to an extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment from the world’s most creative storytellers.
These prices are obviously all for the US market, but there's no reason to believe international markets won't see proportionally similar price hikes too. Current subscribers should receive notifications regarding the planned price increases 30 days prior to the service renewing at the higher cost.

I completely agree. Apple has taken capitalism to a new segment with a 5th level or tier of iPads. Lol. You have to buy it cuz Google and Microsoft failed at their respective jobs so badly for so long.

I was just thinking if only Apple had made individual pricing a bit cheaper than a total rip off.......i would invest. Everything is about large families and family plans otherwise wayyyy to expensive for individuals.

It would make sense that you would be over and out as your argument makes no sense, why would anyone need be jealous of a product they can simply purchase 🤷 That jealousy argument is as daft as it ever was, just like those that try to use it. ...
