Prasad, 31 March 2017

Apple announced that it is starting a new app development center in Bengaluru, India called App Accelerator Bengaluru. The aim of this is to enable budding developers to create more apps for Apple’s platforms.

In this program, Apple experts will lead briefings and provide one-to-one app reviews for developers building apps for iOS, watchOS and tvOS platforms. The facility will also provide support and guidance on Swift, Apple’s new programming language for these platforms. Apple Technology Evangelists will be providing specialized briefings for over 500 developers every week and also offer detailed app analysis and feedback as they work on their apps.

Speaking of the new program, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of World Marketing said,

“We are impressed by the great entrepreneurial spirit in India, and are excited to provide a platform for these developers to share their innovations with customers around the world. In just the first few weeks, we’ve already seen some incredible developers here at the App Accelerator Bengaluru, including Practo and Reliance Games, create innovative apps that can meet the needs of customers in India and around the world.”

The App Accelerator Bengaluru is free to attend. You can sign up here.

It seems Apple forgot to create jobs in America.

It seems you forgot China. Xiaomi would sell well in other countries also if they sell it officially.
