Apple starts manufacturing AirPods and Beats in India
Apple started moving some of its iPhone production from China to India back in 2020 and is now planning the same for AirPods and Beats. According to Nikkei, the Cupertino company already asked suppliers to move production to the South-Asian country, with the goal to double exports by the end of March 2023.
Bloomberg reported earlier this week that iPhones, manufactured in India and shipped to Europe and the Middle East are equal to $1 billion in cost, and with the new move, this number might reach $2.5 billion by March 2023.
Analysts believe the switch to India is good as it will diversify the manufacturing base that is highly concentrated in China currently. Also, India will use the move as a statement it is a manufacturing force to be reckoned with and might attract other companies to move their production.

Makes sense, so how much price percentage has it gone down by now compared to before they entered India?
