Apple Vision Pro goes on pre-order on January 19, ships February 02
Apple's Vision Pro is finally going on sale. Starting in the US, the headset will land on pre-order on Friday, January 19 through Apple's Online Store, and start shipping on Friday, February 2.
Starting on February 2, the Vision Pro will be available at all US Apple Store locations. It seems Apple will sell only the 256GB model at first, but the company hinted that there will be other models as well. Apple's press release says that the price is starting at $3,499 with 256GB of storage.
The Vision Pro ships with a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band, and there's a Light Seal and two different Light Seal Cushions in the package, as well as a polishing cloth, a battery, a USB-C cable, and a USB-C adapter.
Apple also detailed lens attachments for vision correction. The ZEISS Optical Inserts will be available as a prescription or as readers that magnetically attach to Vision Pro. The readers will be $99, while the prescriptions will be $149.
Apple will eventually broaden Vision Pro's availability to other countries, but it's just the US for now.

it is not the same at all. This has far supirior AR and hand tracking but those do not matter. This is for developers to start building their apps, the performance is leagues ahead and it will be easier to test and optimaze apps. It is not for us.
