This and the updated model (Padfone 7) are mobile rubbish produced by Asus which is very capable of producing good products.

Battery of my unit died after a couple of weeks. Couldn't recharge. Had it fixed - motherboard replaced according to Asus. After that the battery drain was too fast. Sent it back for repair again. Awaiting replacement of MBO again.

I know someone who bought three units and two have battery problems.

The Padfone 7 shell cracks easily and has speaker problems.

I'll stick to Samsung Tabs from now on. More expensive but IMO that they are of a better build quality.

      I have a problem with memory card,it is automatically disconnected from asus fonepad,i have to open the compartment and reinsert the memory card,it works some time and it occurs same problem.wat's the solution????please help me.....

          What is the difference between the Asus fonepad ME 317 MG and the ME 372 CG ? Need to know before I buy !

            Open the back of the device with help of a credit card or similar (check older postings), disconnect the battery, press the start button and re-connect, that should do the job.

              If the battery is decharged to 0% it cannot be recharge same peoblem with many of the user. I got an asus fonepad and have the problem. Asus need ti do something. I almost lost all the beleave in asus.

                plz help me dear. my asus fonepad k004 is a gift from my sister. it was runing very smoothly, it has amazing internet working. but I made a hard reset last night. since then there is no network on my tablet. plz help me. I have tried a lot but failed.

                    I purchased it a week ago on 7th Jan'14. The front cam is always blury and hazy, you can't make video call with that photo quality.

                      .gud screen with gr8 viewing angle & touch response
                      .connected pendrive via OTG cable and worked fine
                      .copied files between SD card and pendrive, worked both ways
                      .about the SD card unmounting issue. No unmounting hapnd unless i switch between 3G & 2G networks, found no prob with 3G networks so far
                      .wrkd with wifi & mobile data. got 6.2Mbps download speed with BSNL 3G (ookla speedtest)
                      .played 720p & 1080p movies with ease
                      .decent battery back up
                      .gud one for net browsing and reading
                      .nice UI customisation by asus (luvd the weather widget)
                      .worked video call using google hangouts
                      .quite easy to customise the tab with asus apps
                      .found some apps not running smoothly (piano,..), may b due to the intel architecture
                      .loudspeaker sound is clear, though not tat loud
                      .micro USB port is of low quality, not so easy to plug in
                      .back cover found a bit difficult to remove
                      Overall a DECENT tab from asus...

I bought this a week ago and I find the front cam very blury and hazy, was it fine and clear for a skype call brfore the upgrade. DId you find any fix for after upgrade?

                            I have using asus fonepad since june last year..so far its one of the best phone for me..compare with other smartphone, i feel that fonepad is the suitable choice for me.. but my fonepad can't use sandisk memory because it can't read..so i change to strontium xternal memory..and its worked until now

                              Hi,dear friends and the factwriting GSM.It took me five weeks for a true research!The written design,features,specifications and other qualities about the fonepad are not exact!Why34 pages of almost all complain!Google play store is not updated so it can not give service to google chrome,google search and other softwares and old hardwares in the fonepad!The real problem is that the devices are too old in the fonepad that can,t give services according to the standards of todays!The reason:Google nexus 7-2013 acts independently and as a rise of a problem fix it fast,like kit kat4.4.1to4.4.2!For asus to get rid of all problems is updating the google play store and upgrading to the higher OS to get rid of all problems!I am sure the third softmaker and motherboard maker in the world if it wants to do it can but too soon before it,s too late!Dear friends besides writing here!Please send sms,email,call,etc.to asus and tell your problems to be solved faster!Maybe asus even doesn,t read my opinion!Thanks gsm to share!

                                  i buy fonepad 32GB on 28 dec 2013. But on 1 week ago my fonepad can't charging n appear question mark battery.
                                  After fixed then the battery drain fast in standby mode (no app open,gps off,no sim inserted, etc). If i touch rear cover on top its feel warm, where its in standby mode.
                                  Does Asus could explain what happened??

                                      Hi there i just want to ask anyone here how can i do to work my internet sim in asus fonepad because when i put my internet sim in my fonepad the internet is not working when i go to 'wataniya' telecom they told me to go to their technical support.. I just want my internet to work in this fonepad but the regular call and msg is normal i can receive..thanks in advance
