I have try using wechat video call to hong kong voice is clear but the delaying quite slow it takes about few seconds to hear my own voice.

i want to know whether we can video call by 3g sim card not through 3rd party like swype,wechat,viber.since it is confusing for elders.anybody tried it please reply samsung tab 2 also

allan, 04 Oct 2013how to send file vai bluetooth from fonepadyou cant transfer apk files using bluetooth to your fonepad. one way to get around this is to change the extension name .apk example to .jpg using file manager then send it normally using bluetooth upon receiving change it back to .apk and voila you can install it. hope this will help

Finally got my phone back last weekend, it works fine now and the battery can last for more than 2 days. Thanks to Asus Service Centre staff you kind help.

I play alots of games like Unicorn dash, angry bird, car racing, fifa 14, puzzles, most wanted racing all its ok! In offline mode battery i4 last longer compared to online mode. I charged it in flight mode it stayed 3 days when i found only 3% lost of charge from 100%. Only prob just slightly slow in browsing by usjng chrome but firefox its ok i recommend it with pe3fect media player Mx player its greater you just add file format you want to play in setting of mx player. In addition no option to move installed apps to sd card although im using 32gb its working ok! Just like 4 days ago i received update from air to v 3.2.5 now its ok.

zach, 05 Oct 2013do you have the problem with a ? appear on the batt. sign?Your battery is malfunctioning, possibly failing, i would get it replaced or ask asus to get it repaired, warranty should cover it.

Been using the Fonepad for 3 month.
After exchanged for whole device crash, and battery drain issue (changed motherboard), the device is very stable now.
The battery now last much longer than typical ARM based smartphone/tablet, and much stable than typical android highend phone.
It doesn't run typically fast, and doens't have many extra gimmick feature, but it does give a very basic feel on android experince, much simple and easier to use than typical highend smartphone. By the way, it's not that slow either, with average performance.
The build quality rival most of the more expensive alternative. The metal back is very good, the screen with 1280x800 resolution is great, overall quality is very solid.
It is the most budget phone/tablet hybrid that you can buy out there, with a balance between build quality, experience, and performance.
To whom that eager to buy this, better wait for the release of Fonepad 7, which is successor to this, with dual front speaker, and more powerful dual core z2560 procesor. Or wait for Fonepad Note 6, with Full HD display.
For the battery, micro sd, and other quality issue, better consult your nearest service center for repairing service. Those are known issue, and you shouldn't hide from it.
This opinion is written and send out via ASUS Fonepad 8GB version with back 3.2 MP camera.
