Magyk, 16 Aug 2013How is 2460 model(32 gb)? Any users..? Please give a review... moreIf the main purpose of your tablet is for gaming, multimedia and browsing, then you're better off with Nexus 7. If you want a device that has an ability to call and send sms and heavy gaming is not that important to you, then fonepad.

Ok, 8GB version, with 3.2MP back camera, being used for 1 month, sent in to the service center twice.

Both cases are on the phablet motherboard issue.
The 1st time, the phablet die within 3 days, the whole phablet crash. When booting up the phalet, it always staying in the loading screen, then self restarting, and keep looping until died. Sent to service center, and offered one to one exchange, problem settle.

The 2nd time, the battery suddenly drained like hell after 1 week usage. The whole phablet is very hot, and the whole battery drained out in just 6 hour without even using the phablet. After the phablet die, I plug in the charger, and the phablet won't even recognize the battery condition. The battery show the "?" symbol, the phablet just won't charge. It is certified dead. Sent in for 2nd time, verified is motherboard issue, and the whole motherboard changed.

Current status, been using for two weeks after the two incident. Not encounter any single issue, no system crashing, no battery drained out, no slowing down. Everything just worked as intended, battery can last for 1 day for heavy usage, and last for 2 day on normal usage.

I stress test the phalet, using it as GPS, voice chatting, play graphic intensive game, using 3G/HSDPA service for surfing, as a Wi-Fi hotspot, test Wi-Fi on all Wi-Fi hotspot station, play Full HD H264 MP4 video, plug in SIM card to make call and receive call, plug in 32GB MicroSD card with full of mp4 video and mp3, using Bluetooth to transfer file, taking thousand of photo, shooting video, rooting, take it out for hiking, jungle trekking, every bit a smartphone can do, it surely does.

So, if your device is having issue, please sent to ASUS service center. I would say it is all related to the device motherboard. The 1st device before exchanging is having the memory card self unmounted issue too. After exchange, no more issue on this. The battery drained issue is also related to motherboard. After replaced, the device just stay cool and last longer then ever, even with Wi-Fi and 3G turn on.

I really appreciate the service that ASUS service center offered. Been using for one month with two heavy cases.

For battery charging, using the supplied adapter is the fastest charging option. Full charging around 1 hour. The USB power supplied from PC or laptop are just not adequate to quickly charge up the device.

I just got the 32 GB version with faster processor. This is my dream device. Now I have phone, text, and my tablet all in one. Truly Awesome. I hope Asus keep improving the device. I will not go to smaller screen phones again since my eye sight is not improving. Gaming, photo, video and books are all better in larger screen. This also fits into my pant pocket.

The problem I am having is Mylibrary. I have epub books. Mylibrary opens, then closes after 2 seconds. Any one knows the problem?
