Hi guys I'm planning on buying this due to its incredible price here with these specs, does anyone recommend me this fonepad on a long term usage 1 year minimum?

AnonD-178224, 23 Aug 2013after i recharged the battery.cant opened it.im using only ... moreif it's the battery with "?" you need to send to Asus Service Centre, I've just had mine sent for repair because of the same thing and also unresponsive parts of the screen and got it back last week, they replaced the motherboard and the lcd screen *basically it's a totally new tablet now!*

Its 2 month i used this fonepad, what i can really say is: im totally disappointed with it. I have to send it back to their service center 2 TIMES!!! First its the BATTERY + MOTHERBOARD PROBLEM, which it cannot power up and ends up with a battery icon with the question mark in it. Then the second time which is the current problem i facing right now is there is NO DISPLAY while im using it! Then the display will on back again, and the next day it will off again. If its happen again for the 3rd time, i will refund it back no matter what!! Hell man i will never ever buy any other Asus product again, just wasted my money & time! You better off stick to PC motherboard or graphic card!

Hi! I'm from Philippines. MY sim card is not working with my asus fonepad. the item was bought last week in Jeddah, KSA and sent it here. I already cut my standard sim into micro sim. and it's not working. Is there any setting on the phone that i can check or change so that it will work? Thanks!

I've bought ASUS Fonepad with 32gb internal memory, intel Atom 2406 1.6ghz processor on 16/08/2013.
After 1 week using it. The battery show the "?" symbol, the tablet just won't charges. I sent it to to ASUS dealer, but I have to pay RM30 for postage and admin. heard that other users experiencing the same defects.

I was highly dissappointed about this phone . I returned it because the mobile data never worked. After putting all my excitement on it lack of Saturday put me off

I am using this fonepad for the last 2 months. Calls can be made from SIM. Even SMS can be send easily. I have tried 1080p videos downloaded from Youtube. It played smoothly. You need to download MX player to play .flv files. There is no record of mentioning that it supports USB OTG (on the go. Initially I was disappointed to see that it does not detects any usb device attached to it. You have to download and install "PPP Widget" to enable the Fonepad to act as USB OTG. I have connected USB Mouse, USB Keyboard, Pen Drive, USB HDD. But it did not detect USB Optical Drive. I don't have to charge my Fonepad for 1 and half day. I use it for gprs facility as my location is away from city.

I just have the ASUS Fonepad recently. I love the machine particularly its ability to change the tone of colour at the display. I have tuned the display to exactly the same colour as the new TV and my friends all said the ASUS display is very good in colour. Except one thing I am not happy with it. The auto rotate does not work after I have installed some apps. For example I have installed the Real Racing 3 several times, but still cannot drive the car in the game due to the autorotate function was crashed. This reduce my delight to the machine a lot.

Magyk, 16 Aug 2013How is 2460 model(32 gb)? Any users..? Please give a review... moreI have the 32 GB with 2460 processor. I have no issues at all. I love the device. I used to carry HTC one (probably the best android phone) and HTC EVO view tablet. Now I only need The Fonepad. It came unlocked. I can tether to my laptop without paying extra to AT&T.
I run some graphic intensive games such as NFS most wanted and Riptide GP2. They run very smooth. I think the difference may be the loading time. It takes longer for games to load. But once loaded, it runs well. If you love just to have 7 inch tablet and also phone, text and internet, this is the one to get. It is my dream device.
