MY FONEPAD DOES start and NOT ACCEPT CHARGING .... when i press button the battery symbol appears with question mark in it "?" ... i tried to reset the fonepad with no use... i tried different cables and chargers with no use ..... can any body help please .....

edd, 27 Aug 2013i bought the tad..after 1 week...cannot charge..only batter... morei have a problem .... the pad does not start and when i push on power button, appears the battery symbol with a question mark in it ..... i tried many cables and many chargers with no use, i pressed on reset button with no use too .... any body help please....

If your in the Philippines just buy a micro sim card, don't cut the standard sim card to make it a micro sim because it won't work, I tried it before.

i bought the tad..after 1 week...cannot charge..only battery display is on.i send to service centre..and they change the main board....my friend also had a same situation....hope asus will sattle this issue asap

Do this by holding the power button for more than 6 seconds, it will turn off your tablet.
After that, turn on the phone by pressing the power button and vol. up at the same time, do not release until you see the image of a USB cable, then hold the button vol. down and then press the vol. up.
will pop up a menu, use the volume buttons to select factory reset and power button to confirm
