hi guys
i am planning to buy this Fonepad
i have some quarries..
1. Can make the voice/video calls through the sim
not through mobile data
2. can it play all video format ? as in specification
it support only H.264 / H.263
3. can it be used as a modem by connectting to a PC

MicroSD card is only for contents such as files, music, video, not to install program directly on it. One option would be to root the device and use app2SD (3rd party software) in order to install programs directly onto the microSD card. That is why I always buy the 16 GB or 32 GB devices.

im using asus fonepad, im using micro sd card 32GB, but when i install apps my enternel memory is full, so i dont know how to move data apps in enternal to micro sd card. can somebady help me..

Aryan, 27 Jul 2013i am using asus fonepad from last 2 n half month , it unmou... morei have the same problem. but when i have format my sandisk class 10 memory card it will working fine .. please use usb mode for data transfer for best result..... i hope it will solve your problem

go on settings and then More then Mobile network settings then access point Name
if APN account exist go on it and go down you will find APN type open it and type" default,supl"
if it is not there call your operator call center and they will give you the details how to set an New APN account and make sure that you have the right APN type

Hi. I just bought Asus Fonepad a few days ago. Am having problem trying to enable the mobile network with my 3G sim card.Have checked with my local services and everything seems fine. Since my area have no wifi services so i'm hoping that someone can help me with my problem. Thank you.

i am using asus fonepad from last 2 n half month , it unmounts memory card automatically after some use. n this only happens when mobile data is on n network signals r weak or fluctuating . i went to the service center there they resetted my tab , but same problem still persist. i am using SanDisk class 4 32gb card , even tried 4gb, two 2gb micro sd cards but same problem persist .
if anybody finds the solution of this problem , or at service center kindly explain what has to be done

I bought Asus Fonepad about 2 weeks ago, charge for 8 hours for the first time it works fine, then the other day i need to charge about 2 hours to get to 100% fully charge, but now its has to charge for 4 hours to be fully charge, and when i power off the device at night it drain the battery for about 70% if i fully charge it before i power off, it is the battery's problem or is it the fonepad works like that ? because usually tablet or mobile if you power off it won't reduce the battery life ? someone help ...

ysr, 24 Jul 2013guys we've got a new system firmware update on our unique a... moreafter installing this new update I did full factory reset, because touch screen was like a crazy, touching was damaged. After restoring to factory default - everything now ok.
If you have no problems till now - dont do this now, wait some time. I'm talking about kernel 3.0.34-00001 -g4f8933f, fw JZ054K.WW_epad_V3.2.4.-20130712

Don't buy this device. Total waste of money, owning it for a month, it has already gave me endless headache. My tab which I owned for nearly two years did not onces give me problem like can't on, can't connect to gsm and etc. What a piece of crap!

I have just updated mine to V3.2.4 so far i have noticed my signal Symbol H had become H+ i hope it had additional speed.
