      After upgrading to KitKat,it worked perfectly and smooth.Mine is ME372CG. The drawback is just the poor speaker.

        Positive feedback for this awesome device from asus mien is me157cg dual SIM
        I should highly recommend for whom prefer to have most features from one single device at middle range of price

            i run systems update a few days ago and the result is the phone would no longer access the inserted sd card.ASUS GUYS! YOU GOTTA FIX THIS BUG AND SEND OUT THE UPDATE ASAP!!!

                GRETACASH, 09 Jul 2014Hi from Istanbul / Turkey...the same problem (contacts&... moreAwesome....solved my issue too. Asus Tech support suggested factory reset. This saved losing data and apps. Thanks a lot.

                Steps -
                1) Power-off phone
                2) Remove SIM card
                3) Power-on phone
                4) Go to settings -> Apps -> All -> contacts -> Press CLEAR ALL DATA & CAcHE -> repeat for contacts widget and telephone(callIU)
                5) Restart phone and check phone and contacts icons. You should be able to use them now
                6) Shutdown again -> reinsert SIM card
                7) Reboot phone

                  Hello, after going through so many reviews I have seen people facing lots of problem regarding upgrades from jellybean to kit kit. Here I will discuss my own experience while upgrading to kit kat. After upgrading to KitKat my tab got crashed it took many attempts to boot. Finally when it got boot it stuck but slowly slowly the new OS accepted the hardware configuration and started functioning smooth.

I spent my whole day to utilize it again and knowing i have already missed my library because of upgrade, this was the next shock! Yet no other solution?

                                  Love it...the battery last long and also easy to use,i love the hold `home` shortcut function, it makes switching between the apps faster.....too bad not many outlet offer service for the repair of Asus here in Selangor. I think love it more n more..

Still it is not showing the percentage on Home screen. By the way can any one confirm what is the android version in your phone. My phone is showing 4.3 and showing as software up-to-date. If someone can help on the other software details (Kernel version, Android version, etc.), it would help me to discuss with Asus service center.
