I bought Asus phonepad7 8 GB recently. Added 32GB microsd. Attached 3g SIM. This devise is a gem. I couldn't have asked for more. Fast speed ...even better than my galaxy s2. In everything. The display is not as nice as s2 but yet quite good. As Asus says this is a complete device. Battery backup is great.

hi guys . my name is nikhil . i actuallly wanted to buy asus fonepad 7 ,8gb version is to good .does this tablet has any problems please let me know if there is any(or)should i buy this tab or go for any other tab .

Why does it not come with casing?

i bought fonepad 7 just 2days ago ,when i play youtube and then i open another new tab ,my youtube stops instantly. can't i do multitasking in this fonepad?

Two days ago I updated my fonepad's system, I didn't change anything on my own, it was just a regular update from asus. Since then it's showing red question mark instead of regular battery icon and is asking to be charged. I tried charging, switching off and on, resetting back to factory settings but nothing helps! Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

Asus FonePad 7 is almost like stock android that why it don't have a fancy skins mp3 player like samsung :)

Mabrooo, 28 Mar 2014I want to know how to upgrade my software from 4.1.2 to 4.3... moreMy model number is K00E(ME372CG) i'm from Malaysia. Others country i'm not sure. My version of android is 4.2.2 when i got it. i check for using the tablet via settings> about> system update. Mine got 2 update. First it downloaded a 255mb file, then after update i check again it downloaded another 152mb update file. Download using H+ connection on tablet.

they can be moved but if you play large games (over 1gb) trust me and get the 16gb version. the 8gb has real 4gb and you will find it small because you first have to install them in the device and then move them to the sd. furthermore some games can't be moved and some can't be updated when they are in the sd.

Battery lasts for 6 days in my case, with 3G and Wifi always on.

After the second update I have a false battery percentage it still 100% until the tab gives me warning that battery is empty then it shuts down

I own this and having a lag when accessing streaming on the default browser. Probably because of 720p on the browser. I also get cases of hang and lag sometimes. I attribute this to the lack of RAM.
If I am using Youtube, I sometimes get the issue.
If I downloaded the movie and used VLC, the video is perfectly fine.
My network connection also disconnects from time to time when I am using the browser for streaming. My router is Huwaei HG256s.
Flash cannot work properly.. A similar Android 4.3 on Galaxy note 2 can run the same flash APK and works.
I am hoping for the next upgrade to Kitkat.
