However i am not quite happy coz the seller turn on my device and walk me through the tablet function skipping the google account sign in....

I know how to do it myself but he insist to do it.. sigh

I am kinda ocd coz i need to do stuff nicely from the start.

So now i have to go to menu setting and login and sync google account but it have problem syncing the google account and contacts that i save from previous phone.

And when i first play youtube, some newer video with high quality , the playback stutter and lags for minutes.. including google chrome

Now i want to do a factory reset and start the phone like i newly bought. Will it void the warranty?

        Which way is better?

From setting >Backup and reset > factory reset

        Or

Turn off the phone and press on while holding down button to go to service menu to do factory reset.

        Whats the difference?

And i think my fonepad baterry drains very fast.

From 100% to 50% in about 3 hours with some games, google chrome, youtube, videos and some short window of idle.

I keep looking at the percent it looks like it drops 1% every 7 - 9 minutes.

Site says 10 hr off multimedia it looks like i have 6 hr of entertainment on my phone. I turn off gps mobiledata, bluetooth and auto sync . Using smart saving. Is it normal?

I have the original Fonepad, which has the same resolution.
If put side by side with higher resolution screen, it do look pixelated.

But,from everyday usage, it is very hard to notice the different, as the screen is still pretty sharp on normal viewing distance. (200mm)
The small text do not look fuzzy.
The screen is just sharp enough for everyday usage.

Zenfone 6 has smaller screen, but it has 13MP camera with LED flash, 2GB RAM.

Fonepad 7 FE375CG, has 5MP camera without LED, 1GB RAM, but is backup by Quad Core
                  64 bit processor.

Both are not perfect in term of spec.

                        I've tested Asus Fonepad 7 FE375CG , zenfone 6 and the older fonepad 170.

both Asus Fonepad 7 FE375CG and zenfone 6 video quality is excellent compare with dimmer fonepad 170

however I also tested lenovo s930. comes with 6" screen.

I dont have much budget for zenfone 6. any advice which to get? Asus Fonepad 7 FE375CG or lenovo s930?

i feel that viewing video or movie with Asus Fonepad 7 FE375CG is much more satisfying than 6" screen even though it's 1" bigger in screen size. But the UI in lenovo aint bad either but only in jellybean version...

This fonepad is unofficial released in Malaysia.
The 3G version priced around RM699.
The 4G version priced around RM799.
The 8" version is not yet release.

I hand-on it today, and probably no one is noticing this as this is not stated in the catalogue.
It comes with Zen UI, dual sim, Android Kitkat 4.4.2 preloaded.
This Fonepad now has much narrower bezel, very close to 6" phone, and more comfortable in hand due to smaller form factor.
The screen resolution remain the same, but is brighter and higher contrast than last year model, screen brightness still not great, but should be adequate for in door use.
Performance wise, it is still a bit of laggy from page to page navigation, a bit slow to load apps, probably due to the same 1gig ram.

The back of the device now is covered with soft rubber, much like last year Nexus 7. The Micro SD slot, and the two micro sim slot is now covered by a rubber flap, which is more convenient than last year model, but feel a bit cheap.

Well, I think gaming performance should improve, but not yet tested.
This is Quad Core 64 bit Intel chip, maybe some apps that is created solely to run on ARM chipset still cannot run on it. (just very minor apps)
