May I ask how long it takes to charge from 0% to 100%. Mine takes about 4 hours. And is your tablet JB4.2.1 out of the box? I totally agree with you that this is a very good tablet. Good day to you.

I've been running this tablet since Christmas. it is truely amazing. its light and quick. the battery has a good life time cycle. i use it heavily as a multi-platform emulator. in fact it does this so well i ended up selling my xbox and psp hardware. it has even found its way into replacing my netbook as my primary travel computer.
Unlike some past android devices, i have been able to configure both zip file and samba access without needing to root the device.
Add to the fact that Ubuntu is developing a stable distro for the kernels. core testing is very stable and a full blown tablet ubuntu is close at hand. i am happy to resolve that i will be using this dervice for years to come, and develop a hardy linux tablet.
Thank you Google for finally releasing this grade of hardware. The Nexus 7 is a really big little tablet

I was about to buy it, but noticed it is for about 370$ in India(16 gb, WiFi). why? Asus should do something about that.

Been using it since 2 weeks and I'm loving it. Its fast, has good battery back up and excellent for gaming and browsing. I hate chrome browser on this. Tried Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, UCWeb Browser, Puffin and Dolphin browsers. Dolphin is the fastest and does good flash playback.

When to service centre for repair which took them 13 days to fix the problem. They told me that they changed the 'motherboard'. Now it works flawlessly. I have to tell you that JB4.2.1 is the best. Can't wait for the next update and this is what the GN7 is all about. Cheers.

Great tablet but cannot upgrade to android 4.2.1. Update will start running after the restart and eventually comes up with the android with an exclamation mark in a red triangle. please help.
