Set to WEP security on mobile phone and yr Nexus 7 will connect well. Do not set to other security as N7 will have problem connecting...

Hi. I just got the Nexus 7. I tried to playback some 720p MP4 video files and notice that the video kind of stutter a bit. It's not very smooth. Any fix for this? The same video playback flawlessly on my other Android device Samsung Galaxy Note

ganesh, 31 Aug 2012guys pls some information abt the warranty n repair stuff??Asus India is offering service during warranty period even if you purchased nexus 7 from U.S. Make sure you register your device at Asus India website with its serial number.

If U got Music on ur PC transfer to your phone and send to Nexus 7 via Bluetooth

how can you say not having a back camera is a disadvantage?? It is the best not having a camera on the back of the table.. Must be a hipster if you use a tablet as a camera... xS

I bought a nexus 7 a fortnight ago in the UK and tried copying my music from the computer, using the nexus as a flash drive to no avail. I phoned the technical helpline at Tesco who were very helpful but could not resolve it and gave me the helpline of google nexus 7. After 35 minutes of great help, trying different functions from their helpline, the matter could not be resolved. Anyone else experiencing similar problems your advice will be appreciated.

for nexus 7 owners you can rotate your screen by going to accesibility in settings this will let your nexus 7 screen rotate and dont root your nexus 7 because its spec is great and the one who root will no longer be able to get updates from google and as i said the spec are great and will work with updates and future os for long time
by the way i got the nexus , and its a great device recomend it for all

first for gsm arena thank you for this great site and for correction the bluetooth in nexus 7 is 2.1 as its written on the sticker on the nexus 7 box , i got one today and its great

The displayDisplay is IPS panel, gives natural color reproduction (graphic designers use displays with IPS panels!) and great viewing angles (no color fading when viewed from off angles). Expensive television sets use IPS LCD displays.
Capacittve touch screen is very responsive. I did not see any of the problems found on nexus 7 display such as non-responsiveness (in my opinion some apps are not so fast to respond to touch or some kind of touch-drag movement input not supported by a particular app) or creaking sounds after heavy use.
Very funny thing is that nexus 7 does not warm up even on prolonged use.
