Have owned the Nexus 7 for over a year now. One of the best 7" tablets out, was the absolute best for under $250 when I bought it a year ago. Runs everything no problem, display is beautiful and sturdy(has survived many falls crack-free). Android 5.0 cut into the battery life however, it lasts ~70% as long compared to KitKat. But its nice getting all the android updates before anyone else. +1 would definitely recommend

For web browsing, videos and games the battery life is 5-6 hours with android 5,0,2. Dipens and from the brightnes. Mine is at 60-70%.

Quick note: The Lollipop update has been released for the Nexus 7, I just noticed the specs still state "...planned upgrade to v5.0 (Lollipop)".

Tech savvy, 23 Feb 2015I have recently updated the system and I must admit lollipo... morePerhaps you should specify why you don't like the update.. I'm loving 5.0.2 on my N7, face-unlock doesn't work, but everything else is way faster and smoother than it was on 4.4.4.

I have recently updated the system and I must admit lollipop indeed sucks... I highly recommend anyone who is tempted to update to stick with KitKat
