This tablet is great I bought the 3G + wifi since wifi is hard to find in our country , it can play almost any Video even mkv , any music , it is fast can handle many active application at the same time and great for gaming (I mainly use it for browsing and studying , reading is very comfortable and with the screen resolution you have nothing to fear) . All the specs are great compared to the price and the fact that you get the updates as soon as they are made is a great advantage .... Well we all know that so let us get down to the problems you will face first the limited memory I got the 32 giga well it is good but with time you will reach the stage of no enough memory (you can use a flash and an otg cable as an external hard disk ) second the fact that you can't make calls which is the only thing that downgraded this tab in my opinion from the title "perfect" I hope something will be done about it that is global and not limited to USA. Third the stereo sound is low . Fourth the battery only lives with me for about six hours I think it is normal taking to account that I keep the net open , play games , read book, watch videos and download during this period ...but if am only watching it stays longer. Finally the last problem but am not sure if it is a general one , after returning home I took my nexus7 out of my bag to find the screen broken!! I searched the net and found similar problems when the device is put in tight space like a pocket or a bag ( although I covered it well) now am waiting for the evaluation report from ASUS ....This is my experience with the Nexus7

sorry to hear your problem. I had a hard time configuring bsnl myself as at the time every mishap occoured like sealink cable cut, tower shut down and what not. I shifted to idea, docomo. It worked like dream and flawlessly. Got around 420 kbps easily and great connectivity. Lets hope its not just cause mine's imported from US.

pippin, 12 Jun 2013wich is better,google nexus 7 or asus fonepad? tnx for gaming or heavy application i suggest nexus 7...fonepad are for lite application and for gsm call...just compare the price both of the device..more price more better.

Avi files will play if u've MX player. I actually shud say tht any format of video plays with mx player.

I entered it. then i am able to browse in 2G but when i enter 3G network area i could not see any 3G logo in mobile as used to be displayed in 3G mobiles. Moreover in 3G environments it does not even catch 2G (edge or gprs) data. Now service center confirmed the issues of 3G device in the nexsus 7
