If you have purchased a proper micro sim, then try the network settings. If you have selected umts or 3g only, it wont connect. Keep the network settings on 2g/3g both. Try and let us know if it solved your problem.

I just travelled from maharashtra to ap and back using nexus 7 3g all the way using gps and stuff without any issues. Using idea 3g. Kindly provide the details like settings in apn settings. Will help asap.

If you are a tata customer, use TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET OR TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHVC as the access point names and try. If not, please share details so the members can help out.

In India, the most popular sim card size is the one which is slightly bigger than ones which is used in iphone 4. A very high percentage of phones sold in the market use the common size which i just mentioned. Unless the handsets which use the micro sim or the latest smaller than micro sim cards sales dominates the mini sim card size we put in handsets like ace, s2, galaxy y's, it can be safely referred to as popular mini sim imho. Credit card size with cuts to break the sim out of it is what i am referring to. Nowadays even the credit card size comes smaller. all my comments are strictly relevant to India. Other nations i cant speak for.

Hi, I bought airtel mini sim card and insert it in my Nexus 7. It shows the network signal.. but the net is not connected. How to activata 3 g and mobile net work in my nexus..Please help me guys..( Iam not having any wifi).

3G is not working in the cellular version model. I purchased from a authorized dealer of Asus in Bhubaneswar. Then I visited the service center. They logged in my complain yesterday and taken back by device for trouble shoot. Let see when they deliver??? I think it is a inherent problem in all devices in India. Be aware of shelling out your hard earned money for this device if you main priority is 3G service. Else it is working fine in all other respect. I doubt whether they have 3G radio in device. If this problem is not rectified within week I will file in consumer court regarding this as they do not meet the specifications.

I bought nexus 7 32 GB cellular model from snapdeal.com. I tried 3G today by putting mini sim. Sim is working fine on mobile but this tab is not connecting to cellular. Even not showing any signal. Please help how to get this connected? Is snapdeal delivered me locked product?

I saw one in jarir khobar corniche but i didnt take it bcause it seems it was just returned by a customer bec. it hs no plastic anymore. and just wandering why it as returned, maybe because on some of my reviews, some unts of this was easily damaged/brokn its screen. I saw 1unit from Jarir alkhobar corniche, but I did not take it because it's already opened, I mean the box has no plastic anymore and it seems it's already taken and just returned. And from my review, there are some units that its screen was easily damaged/broken. How about the one you've got? Is there any issues with that? Please advise also, do you see this unit in other stores, is it still available? thanks in advnce...

i sold my 64GB ipad mini and bought Nexus 7 - 32 GB with 3G model yesterday, and am i not impressed.
this thing rocks like anything.. speed, network availability and file management!!
i was so happily surprised to get full 3g speed at places where my ipad mini was struggling to get even decent network coverage
