You're rt, 8990 was the lsited price, i used hdfc cc 15% ebay discount, so it sums to 7990. Its worth the price but hv to live with the lag.
sanchitnis: i tried G Map using WiFi, its perfectly fine, pinpoint GPS location. For offline use MapKing2007 is suggested. search for it at www.4shared.com.Join Orkut community Asus 320 for more info

Phone is nice but I am not able to use GPRS on this phone with vodafone live. They says they don't have setting for it. I don't know how to use GPS, can anybody answer?

Raja, 03 Mar 2009still no answer on how to copy from sim to phone =.=There's software called sim manager for P320 and with that you can copy all the numbers from the sim to the phone. Not too sure if it's available on the net. Check with any of the dealers. They might have it.

Has anyone used Mobile ... moreAs Far as I know , google maps reuire internet connection for maps to get downloaded and then it shows ur handset position on the map after it's gets triagulated ( recieving signal from atleast 3 satelites to pinpoint the handset position)

Another question. Has anyone used Mobile gmaps? http://www.mgmaps.com/ This is a free application with stored map feature so we do not need GPRS service. P320 support MIDP 2.0.. SO I think we should be able to use it.

sanchitnis, 17 Mar 2009To Hitesh, No it was a special offer on the front page o... moreyou must have rs 1000 off on their 8990 set, by ebay's scheme where you get 1000 off when u buy online from them etc.as far as the faq goes search around . one place is this, rest you have to google it.There is lot of support for HTC products and have even websites dedicated to them , which started with o2 xda ,, that's why htc products are doubly expensive than asus. I can vouch for their quality it. I still use my o2 xda II mini for senti reasons along with other sets . you can register with asus webiste for starters , their forums. there is lot of support in terms of windows mobile operating system per say . but once ur get the experience to test for urself for basic requirements of build quality and software stability, brand won't matter majorly but features which asus phones do cover overallall.it is a gps phone gadget after all .and work as promised most of the time

One generic question. Is there any FAQ for new users of P320?
Otherwise the posts in this groups are very great. Thanks to those who are posting. I would not have bought this phone if I had not seen this community..

I have bought this phone a month back and am pretty much happy with it so far.
There is a small issue that I am facing with the WiFi of this phone. Th phone searches and connects to the Wireless network properly but when I access the net via WiFi, it starts Connecting, Locating and then gives a message "cannot find the page. Please check the address and try again". This happens to the basic site 'google.com'
I think this is some sort of setting issue.
Does anyone here know the solution to this issue?

1) mobile shell(better but paid software ) or pointui ver.2 freeware does make it better looking and functional
2) sandisk or kingston are better .Transcend cards are not recommended by asus themselves
30 gps softwares are many - satguide software is based on famous destinator and they have all oneindia map or mapmyindia or mapking or pollnov/pollnav,google search on those softwares and maps that i mentioned

deep, 25 Feb 2009i have asus p320 . but his sound is very slowly what can be donehey man for sound you can use audio para , just have a search on google
or else u can use core player and in that use equaliser and set it to treble
now the sound is all v.v.v loud and clear
