Ritesh, 01 Sep 2008Can someone guide me how to install programs in Memory Card... moreRitesh, This would really depend on the programs which you are installing - some provide you with the option of choosing the target destination, while some just select the phone memory by default. You can try moving some installed programs to the storage card and adjust the related shortcuts, but there is no guarantee that this will work in all cases.

Sumeet, 31 Aug 2008do i require to install any software to get gps workin?? Sumeet, the inbuilt GPS receiver works without any additional software(although you do need to run the GPS Catcher every 3 days to update the Satellite data), but you do need to install additional software for navigation purpose. Try Google Maps or Nav4All as a starter.

Did anyone update to firmware version 4.10?
I haven't because I have a Kingmax memory card and that's not recommended for upgradig. I need to get another 512 MB card just for flashing.

The P320 has a couple more advantages - the first is that is is smaller and prettier than the P526, but this may be a matter of choice. The second is that the P320 comes with WM6.1 and a few other custom ASUS softwares - this again may not be a big enough reason, since you can easily get a ROM to upgrade your phone to the same version.

Any of you guys used (or seen) Asus P526? Its very similar to P527 but without the Wifi.. Also very similar to P320 (except it has a h/w keypad n no wifi).
The cost difference is abt 2K (INR) in favour of P526..
I need to have a keypad..but im not sure if wifi will be very useful for me (mostly im on the go..so wont be getting wifi)...
Any suggestions will be useful...

elitedude, 30 Aug 2008Hey guys, I bought this fone 2 days back. Other functions w... moreThe hardware COM port is 1. You can try set up a soft COM port in the setting "External GPS", but chose a soft COm port of at least 6 (I use 6 and it works - any port less that 6 won't!). And then set up the software to use that COM port if the hardware port COM1 doesn't work.
When the GPS data is updated (GPS catcher) it takes between 15 seconds and 2 minutes. I heard that a normal lock on could take up to 5 minutes sometimes.
