Hi PPC-DOC,

This topic may have been answered already. However, could you please enlightened me on how to format minisd card on ASUS P525? Do I need another software to do it? Or there is a command within Asus P525?

yo chick
before sending anything with bluetooth you must turn on bluetooth on p525.
then go to file explorer and select the file you wanna send and tap and hold on it and then click Beam .
wait a bit till it fined the other bt and ir devices and then just tap on it.
or
get resco explorer and taband hols then send to other bluetooth device.

hello. I got my p525 a week ago, and i still cant figure out how to send by bluetooth. It can receive via bluetooth, I just dont know the outgoing part works. Anybody wanna help me out? Im absolutely clueless ! Email me please, Id appreciate it. Thanks so much

for contact search use smartdial or Celedial ,use google to fined them as .cab files.
or use the great program called "scroling stone" freeware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307294
most of the usefull programs can be found in this forum.

HI,
I recently got a P525. I would like to ask how to switch your keypad to alphanumeric?
I am used to a Nokia. USING ONE HAND, EG: I want to access my contacts so I press contacts on the keypad, and then I would like to enter the initial letter of the persons name. All I get is numbers on the keypad. Is there a way to switch this to letters automatically once the contacts screen opens?
Also, where can I get the chinese language support for websites?

you wanna save your contact to mini sd or to sim card??
you can back up contacts to mini sd or to pc by using any backup program.

how can i save my contacts number to my memory card so i can set to default my p525.
if i set my USB setting to mass storage device every time i try to connect to pc it will be disconnected after 1 to 2 minutes. thanks

hey guy , i have notice that the voting for the asus p525 is been droped very fast (somebody is spaming the resut with 1,1,1.
it was 8.4----8.3---8.4 just before 2 days and now its 8.1---8.0---8.1
be carefull from the spamers.
or give 10 to annul the spamers.

tnx twinx , are u from phil is it possible to communicate with u by cel . still have a problem the sync :( asking me for a an exchange server and password . I hope asus people will train there service representative here how to configure this phone .

i used to have problems with the active sync connecting my computer to my p525. but i tried to change the usb setting to Active sync (low speed) and it worked! you should try it ( Start/Settings/Connection tab/usb settings )choose low speed..

dear anyone out there im from phil . can someone help me configure mms setting . also wen im connected to the sync cord maybe due to my inability to program the sync setting cd from microsoft . the active sync always reminds about attention required . i dont know wat to fill up for the exchange server and password . i dont know wat to do . anyone who knows how to do it can text me at 09178372501 then ill just call. tnx pls help.

got mine last week.. so far so good.. memory is pretty impressive, without the mem card i mean. The only thing that bugs me is that everytime i do SMS i have to change the setting to T9.. then to Abc. Im used to Nokia and i tell ya, its a different thing alright. And you have to wait like 2 secs before the letter actually appears when you use the T9 and Abc selection. Another thing, i cant change my SMS notification Tone to any of my uploaded Mp3's. It has its own built in tones when it comes to SMS notification, which SUCKS BIG TIME coz they dont even have something that is louder than a cricket. Im from Philippines and SMS is very popular here. Now I wouldnt know if i got any SMS unless I check my phone. let alone answer msgs right away! Other than that, I dont have any problems with the phone... good speaker phone.. cool mp3 player.. and the battery even goes for 3 days (considering its a PDA, thats very impressive). and the cam takes good pics, if you stay still LOL ! I find that Asus website has new English ROM (3.43) & Radio (4.6). Any problem if I upgrade to new ROM & Radio?
