I have a problem with the GPS device. The interception of the satellite takes too long (about 15-20 minutes). (I am from Madrid).
Any idea how to improve it?

this letter is for ZZZ and the guys like him.
i have been using this toy for 6 months by now and i did not have one single problem that most of the NOKIA users have.
please ZZZ go and read about the ASUS company and see who is imitating who.
and please remind us does NOKIA have a windows based device? Hmmmmmmmmm....... NO.
the loosy symbian OS that they use is Hmmmmmmm..... CRAP. with limited applications, freezing all the time, photos as if painted by a water brush.
so ZZZ give us a break and try urself to imitate ASUS if you can.

I respect Asus laptopts. But this is imitation of Nokia design. no good.

Indeed, Aziz, the Asus online support does lack promptitude. I have asked them for a week now about the REAL SAR value of P535 and no response.
The problem is that in the manual they give 2 different values!!! (pg133 & 134).
Anyone can please tell me which one is true?

ya its good... its too good for me coz of the gps... but, the thing is, i dont know if all places are available mostly in the pacific region.
as well as the battery, it would be nice if it stays up more longer.

I could rarely see a 3.5 mm Headphone jack on a PDA phone. (I had a HP PDA (No GSM Communicator) iPAQ that had a 3.5 jack, I could listen to the X-Bass Music with a creative HQ Headphone and enjoy very much!!

Hy. I just bought my p535 and it woks great.
The only problem is that programs don't actually close when I close them, they keep running in background. Is there any way to close them (besides the long way:start>settings>memory>running prog)?
And the landscape pictures are blurry while the macros are amazing...is that a general problem?

Hello all i need your help i bought asus p535 from dubai in july 2007 in august i had to go somewere and i left it home for more than 2days i tried to swtich it on and it went on with a a ringing sound and totaly swtiched off tried to reboot it several time charged it again but no luck the screen is totaly off can anyone help me how to format or have it back on please

I just bought this mobile today from extra store in saudi arabia ,it cost 2699 reyal with free 1g memory card and a 7m pixel camera "olympus"

It works fine with 4gb mini SD. I haven't seen larger mini SD.

I've using this PDA for a month and every is working so well. The biggest weakness is the battery life as mentioned by a lot of users.

I own this phone since June 2007, and it works like a charm.
Pocket IE/MSN works great, the camera and its bundle software are amazing, the BT and the WiFi are good too.
Weight and sizes are fully manageable.
Skype runs perfectly.
The only negative side is the battery duration with the WiFi connected, but AFAIK it's pretty normal for this product class.
