to all of you who have this phone,
its default system launcher is chinese and you can't change it.
the best option is to download the zenui launcher which is from the same manufacturer - asus, and your phone will work without any problems.
just make the zenui launcher as your default.

I bought this phones on march 2016 for RS.7900 i was just using for two months and then it gives problem all system change version into Chinese and also internet does not work by data sim only via wifi and also it says " China telecom Surfing 4g ***********#" during power on and power off can sombody help me to fix this problem ,it is great mistake to buy such kind of coward device ,all are Chinese damn i can't even recognised a single letter
. i have waste my 7900 for this Asus peagus X003

You'll notice there are two iterations of it running: one is for the English version, and the other is for the Chinese stuff when you swipe left--you'll note either can be chosen as the "homepage" when you do Manage Home -> Edit Page. The only way to get rid of it is to download, install and run another launcher app. I chose one at random called ADW.Launcher, and it's actually much better than the default Asus one. Best of all, it got rid of that screen I couldn't use.

Believe it or not, to download from Google Play, you need to go to Settings -> Security -> scroll to Device Administration and tick the box next to "Unknown sources" to allow installation of apps from unknown sources.

I learnt this solution after giving up on Google Play, and downloading an app called F-Droid to access apps from their library. To do this I had to tick the above box, and all of a sudden I also had access to Google Play.

One thing; I believe this solution is directly related to the Chinese language-only Asus Apps Store, which I disabled via Settings -> Apps -> Running. Therefore, if Google still isn't working, you may have to force-stop and disble Asus Apps Store first.

Strange thing - there is no Pegasus X003 on gsmarena. As it is quite the same (save CPU which is Qualcomm Snapdragon here), I'd place a comment here (I see I'm not the first with X003). There were no issues with lang (localised almost perfectly and easily switched to eng), though the phone refuses installing apps from the playstore - it downloads, then failed "for unknown error -26". Any ideas what the problem here and how to solve?

I bought this phone this week, it's Asus Pegasus X003 but the default launcher is on chinese on the home page when I swipe left. The launche's name is Asus SmartLauncher. Can anyone help me with this, can I change the language of the part that is in chinese?
The phone language is english, but the part on the home screen when I swipe left is like htc sense but everything is chinese...?
