and see if the current software is optimized or not, they spectacularly failed the user on android 14 update, and everything go down, even mid range phone perform better now

    Great phone ruined by the constant DPS that cant be turned off. Its a nightmare for audio purist

      Best phone, no notch camera, no punch hole. Front camera stay in the bezel just as things should be everywhere.

          i got this second hand ,half of the full price,only a few months old . Im very pleased ,great sound with and without ear pods. The screen is ace. i think this is my 2nd rog phone..def not my first and was the reason why i was looking for this . Almost got rog phone 5s but read to many bad comments about it so im very happy with 7.
          I love the sound and screen...will be a good replacement for my htc u11.
          so far all good.

                I don't like Asus' lack of a solution to the accent color limitations in material UI. Three generations of ROG phones suffer the lack of options for vibrant accent colors, which is just sad in the gaming world. I miss the sick themes I had on my rog every day, and I'm on my 5th rog phone (now a rog 7 512). Still hanging on a thread of hope that the launcher will get an update that can override the color pallette but it seems unlikely at this point. Me sad. :(

                      I hope that in 2024 the ROG Phone 8 basic model will be given a Super AMOLED display because AMOLED 1B and Super AMOLED have no significant difference, it's better to go straight to Super AMOLED. Hope the size is reduced a bit to 6.5 and bring back the 19:5:9 aspect ratio because I love it. And the last thing apart from issues like overheating and software problems is the placement of the charging port hopefully in the middle like a smartphone in general.

However, be careful whether the model number is actually the international version if you want to avoid getting a lower-spec China-only model. Tencent branding is highly likely a CN version. Most users will never notice any difference, but if you want to update the OS manually, you need to have the matching software SDK (WW vs CN or TW) or you may run into problems.

At that level you're better off with a laptop that gives you a) a bigger picture to see details and documents; and b) a keyboard for typing. Unless you do all your work in a different coffee shop every day, or in a car somehow. Or just trolling.

                              I bought this phone and unboxed at the 8th of June 2023, she's a beauty, I daily drive it and the battery last me more than 1 day, but I usually charge it once in a 24 hour, and the fast charging is just crazy. (p.s I'm using 90hz refresh rate all the time).

                              Anyways, loved this baby, the camera is not terrible, suitable for a daily use, Iphone's camera is just too much for a daily use, it's like used for producing movies like what?

                              The price of S23 (not the ultra cuz look at the price bro like what) is just not reasonable whereas this has bigger battery, faster charging, wonderful front stereo speakers (sounds amazing), wonderful screen, and best of all, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

                              I can go on and on but to conclude this, this phone is my perfect preference.
                              The ROG 7 Ultimate is too much for me, imo this is more than enough, I'm also using the 256gb storage with 12gb ram version.

                              It is all up to ur preference, enjoy guys, thanks.

The company replaced the phone. The second one lasted 3 days then died. I'm getting a refund instead of a replacement.
