Anonymous, 03 Aug 2023anyone using rog phones in the past have issues with phone ... moreI bought ROG Phone 7. It died after 4 days (won't boot, won't charge). The company replaced the phone. The second one lasted 3 days then died. I'm getting a refund instead of a replacement.

Just bought this phone after my ROG2 shut me down after 4 years of usage. Personally, using the ROG2 for 4 years didn't make me regret. I love that phone but it has gone to the grave. Then now a new ROG7 is born and the speed is awesome. Apparently I was choosing Iphone 14 Pro Max and ROG7 but after much thoughts, my heart still goes to ROG.

i know why rog 6 and 7 does not use any LTPO panel, outside of the cost , using LTPO panel will need 2 management from fps in game and the refresh rate of the screen. I'm using S22 ultra with ltpo 2.0 and there was 2 management software, one is gos which is already turned off and the other is auto manage performance mode, a VRR throttling software that throttle the refresh rate of the screen to save battery, using auto manage performance on throttling not only refresh rate of the screen but the in game fps which likely they trying to sync the fps and the refresh rate also touch sensitivity drop making a delay when playing..

Searching for Sony Xperia 10 Iv or 10 V and also exploring upcoming models with good battery. Came to know that Vivo is coming with 8100 mah battery capacity for Vivo 100R. Even the old Asus zenfone Max pro M1 had a good and optimized battery. All these are out of stock now :)

You know when you see a phone that's the phone I want
Prior to reading the review, my knowledge of Asus was nil I even had to Google Rog.
Suffice to say I am in the middle of a contract
I do know that I will look at phone 8 hopefully many of the points highlight as cons will be addressed.
I want my phone to be the best version it can possibly be, not so much the additional extras but the niggly camera issues mentioned
This phone is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm not a gamer

Want to know…
I see mostly all ROG 7 for sell in mu country with Tencent Games written on the back. I know its the Chinese Tencent Games edition. Price is kinda cheap too. Still waiting for Republic Of Games, regular one. According to international price Tencent Games is cheaper.
Can anyone tell if this 2 versions has any differences on their OS? Or any other differences?
