Anyone who knows what bands the Tencent version in Asia supports (lacks) compared to this global version? I checked on Kimovil and their it says it lacks the LTE Band 20 (800) which is a network that is used in my country (Sweden)...
The reason I'm asking is because on AliExpress you can find the Tencent version available for delivery for pretty much half the price ($550) compared to the global version (over $1000 for me in Sweden) and in the specifications they list all same network bands that are listed for this phone here! I noticed you don't get the 30W charger with the Tencent version however so you would need to purchase that separately which oddly enough I had a hard time to find where you can buy...
If the Tecent version works fine in Europe I really find it hard to justify paying almost $500 extra for 4 GB extra RAM and the additional storage...

Better... moreNo SD card slot and no FM radio, so no you don't get everything, and these are necessary for a main phone. This is a gaming toy - a VERY nice gaming toy, but not worth it if I still need another device...

The International ROG Phone 2 Elite 256GB/512GB come out sometime this month (September). The International ROG Phone 2 Ultimate 1TB edition comes out sometime October and is ASUS direct from their online store only from what I have seen online.

NickName_Optional, 03 Sep 2019Any downsides/con for the tencent version? None that it matters to me. My phone was flashed to Global Rom from China Rom before being imported. So far the phone's stuck in June 2019 update. The rest of the people who has the Tencent or Original version will let you know.
