Reading comments complaining, and I am puzzled: do you really have the same tablet I do? I have mine since September and never had any problem: works fast, gives great support for videos and games and the browsers work pretty well (the only problem is that Dolphin doesn't support Flash anymore, but this is a problem with Dolphin, not with Asus).
And about the absence of native 3G, is not an issue: I just tether (this is: "to borrow the 3G via wifi") from my smartphone to my tablet. Works perfectly, and pretty fast, if you ask me. If you have a smartphone running Android 2.2 or above, you probably can tether too
Of course, the ideal is to get the version with dock, as the USB is in it. But, also, I don't think is absolutely necessary (the card reader does the job, if only for storage. And usually Android USB slots are more for this, not much to connect peripherals, so...)
I am absolutely satisfied with my tablet, and advise anyone felling sorry for the 3G absence to learn to tether.

Slow and sluggish. I dont recommend it. RAM needs t o be increased.

I have data with my phone, I will literally never be out with my tablet but not my phone. My phone battery would last longer than the tablets battery and the keyboard dock has a USB port on it so would never go flat before the tablet.
Why would I want a second data service? Especially as having my tablet tethered to my phone's WiFi hotspot has a whole host of advantages anyway (Such as all the DLNA stuff).

A tablet without 3G is a waste. And why should I buy a phone to use as a wifi connection in addition to a tablet? Phones have small screens - wifi is wasted on them. Tablets sit between phones and laptops and SHOULD the connection options of BOTH

You have to buy a router dude. they are not that expensive. they have them at best buy for like 40 bucks that would be plenty for your tablet.

just updated to jellybean hoped this would fix the terrible browsing experience on the tablet. if anything its got worse. do not waste your money buying this tablet. im going to sell mine and try the new samsung galaxt note. after all the hype this is one of the worst tablets i have used or seen. the specs are brailliant but the tablet just cannot do what it says it can

gazza, 05 Sep 2012had my asus about a month now. im very dissapointed with it... moreI have tried the default browser, Google Chrome and Firefox. Firefox seems to be the fastest one on Asus Infinity TF700.

had my asus about a month now. im very dissapointed with it the browser is very slow . facebook is a joke on it, it freezes and stops you commenting. the pages flicker and dim on there own. i also have an ipad 2. which is much faster and better at browsing. i hate apple but if this is the best android tablet, no wonder apple sells more. hope the jellybean update fixes the terrible browser experience.

Guys the new one is coming out in the US. 1.7 GHz s4x processer quad core running LTE batery is 9000 mah which is amazing. Display is going to be 3446x6440 plus with the new option that allows you to run 4 videos at the same time.

You can share your phone's Gprs or Edge or 3G internet via wifi hotspot with this tablet easily, so don't worry about the lack of GSM capability.
