They downgrade front cam & ultrawide sensor, LOL. They should upgrade all cam sensor, example from IMX766 to IMX866/800.

Some might want for photo, video storage, so they can plug/unplug and switch their cards. As for me I want to put my music folder which approximately 600GB which no online music services can provide. Aside from the recent comments, I'm excited about this phone launch and hopefully it's available in my country soon despite just a small software update policy of two years. Hoping they change that policy one day.

Bruh..idk why ppl here in GSM complaining about no SD cards on an ever-changing smartphone world. You guys need to GROW UP and ADAPT
Regarding SD cards, it's true that it's cost effective to buy a phone with SD card slot in it but you can't just ignore how abysmal and finite read/write cycle. Eg. So If I to were download/install a game or app in my SD card, it's too slow to load. And on top of that, performance of my phone just gradually decrease overtime.
That's why we have UFS features and cloud storage for reliability.

Photos and videos are large files, that is true, but even on smallest flagship 128GB(~105GB free) internal storage you can put ~11k photos(10MB each) or 8 hours of 1080p 60fps video recordings or 2.5 hours 4k60fps videos(still not good quality...small sensors).
Those videos needs to be processed(cut, encode to smaller format or upload to social networks)... so soon or later they needs to be transferred to NB/PC or YT.
...no need to talk how much can be stored on 256GB? 512GB? 1TB?

Even if the internal space was 1tb, it'd still be good to have another 1000gb in the form of a microSD card because of the large files sizes of pics and videos now. Also, if your phone gets badly damaged or bricked you have to pay hard to find companies loads of money to retrieve the data off of your phone. This is the most important reason for having an sd card option.

Smartphones are not only about how many features we have, but also how quality they are, especially in flaghships.
Phones already have large(constantly increasing trend) internal storage and as a bonus it is very very fast. Data can be still easily transferred to others devices designed for archivation. Mission done.
SD cards make a lot more sense in devices without or with very little internal storage.
The goal is to have well balanced small device, and not force it in one direction.
Internal space is still very limited, no matter what's the phone size, because there is constant demmand of longer battery life, camera sensors are still far far behind APS-C cameras in picture quality, cooling solution should be better(not just small copper piece), ...
SD card slot simply has low priority these days(gsmarena's poll from last year already confirmed this).
Try next time Annonymous corporate NPC :P.

i assume this has a call recorder? so hard to find a phone nowadays that have a call recorder without having to settle for older devices or rooting.

I hope EU enforces SD card expansion as they Enforced Removable batteries and made Type C the standard on all phones. In just a few years we are gonna have a much better phone market thanks to EU.
