Vex, 11 Jun 2024the dissapoint point from this phone is only in the camera.... moreThey should have placed the camera block vertically, not horizontally. And maybe make it longer.

I received my ASUS Zenfone 11 ultra a few days ago. I've replaced my Zenfone 10 with this one and I'm glad I did. Everything is bigger and better. The screen is quite clear outdoors, the speakers are fantastic and the overall feel is great, and of course my beloved headphone jack is still there. The Rhino shield case arrive the same day, a perfect match. The only thing I miss is the side mounted fingerprint reader. 512GB of space leaves lots of room for mobile video and happy snaps and video. Great job ASUS.

Shame that they haven't kept with the smaller units, I was disappointed when Sony pulled their Compact Range and the Zenfone was a good successor, but this just isn't - far too big. I'll have to move to a mid range phone to get a usable size now

whyU, 19 Mar 2024Even if they support your device for 20 years, the truth is... moreActually ROG 5 updated to Android 12.
But i've tried and found out the phone works much better on Android 11 so i downgraded again.
Why do you need the update anyway??!

dfg555, 29 Mar 2024lol i never understood why people always complain about sof... moreExactly.
Never understood this neither.
The first thing i do when i buy a knew phone is to TURN OFF all the f***** possible updates bar security ones and never update ever again.
All phones worked perfectly at their originally designed performance (with each update they degrade/lower your experience) and never had an issue with a single phone.

Obviously they gave-up on the real Zenfone line. If potential ZF people wanted a bigger phone, there was no need to insult the consumers intelligence by re-badging this ROG platform.

The thing I like about Asus is they always have a headphone jack on their flagships

Oh dear, those tiny 1/3" sensors for the ultrawide and telephoto are pretty disappointing. Image processing (colors, exposure, etc) looks decent, but should be paired with much bigger sensors for better image quality.
