Actualy this device is owfull..
- software update ( doesnot complete succesfully ) and upgrade the name only
- the software it self is not stable every app is seperated by it self like call is an app like facebook so. Lags every were and consuming alot of cashe and rams , slowing the device
- THE MOST F.... PROBLEM IS
Phones speaker are reallly reaalyyyy BAD . Like it doesnot exist seems familiar to old radios . You cant hear any music the sound comes out overload or owefull..

- DOWNLOAD bar doesnot appear

to che... moreAfter update facing issues like another person can't hear me . Mike is working fine after checking recording.After calling sercvice centre software issue was confirmed after update.
All i had to do is to reboot device every alternate days.
Regretting decision to buy asus zenfone laser..pathetic brand

i think, there's a bit of misunderstanding here. what I meant to say is the updates for apps have been arrived on play store; and no the system update. The making of better (resolving the so-called mic issue) system update is under progress and yet to reach via ota to the mobiles... I'm also sick of these freaking bugs but i can't help it... also thought of downgrading the 1.17 to 1.16 but it is time consuming, taking about 1.7GB downloading and complicated process and risky... i decided to wait for next ota update...

this phone has two mics , one is at bottom and other at top
make sure these two mic holes are not blocked
remove back cover and check , if there is any dust blocking or not, spray some amount air on it

1)every android phones have so many services and appliactions preinstaaled by google with os ,
2) so whenever the phone starts , background appliactions and services are continiously running without our knowledge ,
3 ) if you stop that services also , it wil restsrt itself within 30 seconds . we must do some cuastomizations via tips
4 ) every lollypop os phone occupies atleast 4GB default OS , without updates

to check this, click sound recorder , record your own voice and then stop, go to file, just play the rcoreded file , if sound comes means , its a not hardware
if sound does not comes means , then its hardware issue

only 15 tips added because of asus preloaded some applications which cannot be delete or uninstalled , so that i added
remaining all tips are common to all android os phones
which ever brand phones which takes much battery usage in lollypop os
this situation much less in marshmallow
