Please tell me you also faces this issue. Or only my mobile has this defect

qualcomm snapdragon 615 is known for heating up android devices but it depends on the manufacturer who releases regular updates may reduce "SOME" heating..
one open secret in the android world is:- any android even Google's prestigious Nexus also exhibit some heating here and there but not all the time....even"single" "dual" "quad" "octa" "hexa" these no of cores changes but not the heating issue...
we have to adjust according to the usage every processors have its own defects and plus points to consider.
octa-cores is known for fast heating of the device and also known for better app and software handling, game performance is great if you tweak it properly with inside settings of the game.............i hope you understand..........any doubts ask me again..........!

Whether Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor heats up with this gadget or not, goodness of Octa-core CPU.

MR.sri1234 as up to now asus released 5 updates each has its own enhancements as asus said in its description...
so you do one thing please manual update to this version (Version WW1.12.40.349 ) once and use the phone for about couple of hours without internet and don't check for update in this time after that check for update your problem will be solved......

I know this manual update option but my concern is actually inside the mobile a new page must be opened and show the message like 'Your software is upto date', but its not showing anything when clicked on 'Check Update'. So, is this any error(software error) in my phone?. If any update is available next time then will I get notification for the same if I now manually update the OS or else I have to do it manually for each update everytime?...pls clarify these two questions if you have any idea because I'm thinking to return this product. So, it would be helpful if you reply soon.

My phone got updated 3 times with 3 different firmware... At end it showed updated to. 1.15.40.639..... I hope dis is latest ...

For everything FACTORY RESET is not a medicine
clear the cache and data of the particular app in settings->apps->"app not working"
if you read my past comment i give you step by step instruction
system update not only includes performance enhancements but also system security patches so keep on updating your phone but safety is important like "wait until somebody review about the same".........
i hope you understand....!!

I recently buyed this phone.... Its quite good.... The only bad thing in it, is its camera.... to correct this problem it requires software like cam360, you cam etc....
beside this..... I found the phone awesome.... Dosnt hang or heat much

1. You can check if the screen guard is not blocking your device proximity sensor.

pl do not get too anxious about system updates. keep checking thru settings > about>system update.
eventually you will get the update. these updates on OTA are not available on demand always. asus releases them periodically region wise to have less server load. meanwhile clear data of FOTAservice in setting>app>all.
further all updates may not b good or stable. i have seen many not so ok reviews for updates with version 1.13 and 1.15 .
so it may b blessing in disguise.
