There is latest firmware update released by Asus. V 1.13.40.496.
Let's see if that helps.

Asus releases new firmware update 1.13.40.496.
What's your views regarding improvements in output photos. I have not updated yet.

Sometimes my phone hangs and touch do not work untill I turn screen off by power button and then turn on screen. I tried factory reset, even tried to update firmware but update failed. Did not work. Any solution?

i am using asus zenfone 2 laser for past one month and my opinion about this smart phone is that im having the best one in its type in all means there is issues of phone hanging till now

Great phone .Great battery back up. no lagging . front camera is great but primary is average. look wise phone is awesome . phone runs very smooth great features.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is awesome phone under 10000. I am using from 2 days. My opinion about this phone below:
Pros -
* Look is great
* Performance is also good in multitasking
* No heating issue.
* Average free Ram is 900-1000 MB
* Touch is very good
* Zen UI is ultimate.
* Front Camera is awesome.
* Quick Charge (Phone is charge in from 40% to 100% in an hour)
* Battery backup is awesome. (I have used approx 10 hours in pure 3G constantly.
Cons -
* Primary Camera is average. Images are bluer while full zoom & while taking photo in full zoom. (If you want Camera performance then you have to go with Yureka Plus)
* No latest OS version.
* No earphone with box.

I am also having the same issue with proximity sensor on my 5.5 ZE550KL. I think i belong on the same batch which has the problem.
Sometimes it works, but most of the time it is faulty. When you make a call , the screen will turn black but when you pull it away from your ears it will stay black screen and will no longer respond.

Whenever I open the primary camera I could see a light waves moving towards right on the display. Also after recording the video I could see a light waves moving towards right on the display while playing the recorded video. I have also updated the phone using system update option and even did restore default settings in the camera, but still the issue remains the same. Why is it so?
