Received handset yesterday morning. Could not explore much but experiencing frequent call drops. The same Sim works great in my old handset, that means problem is with handset.
Requested a replacement, lets see. Will update once get the replacement.

I am putting my brightness to... morego to settings...see apps..click it...go to all...now choose apps you want to dis able...this is my settings..dis able all google stuff.....location off..now see your battery life if it change...by the way.. standby system of 550 ml is so great but for now since lolipop is at lolipop 5 there still a bug cause drain when actual usage..we just have to wait for version 5.02 updates..i know we will get there....im now on my 2 nd day...74% battery with 2 hours screen on time..wifi on always...but im with power saver mode..customize mode brightness below 80% with check wifi off when sleep...

I am putting my brightness to... moreto tell you honestly i dont use auto brightness..and my brightness setting is zero...i can still read pages from cm browser...now if i put brightness to 100% i can read internet stuff under the sun..literally under the sun...the screen is so bright...with my normal usage settings is at zero.. im fine with it...maybe you got a screen problem?...

Is the screen not so bright?
I am putting my brightness to 50%,
if I do it 30%, it is kind of dark but readable
And how to improve battery, I find this 550ml model isn't lasting long as one day I do chatting with it
