Usually, charging issues coexists with rapid battery life loss. At some point you needed to update the firmware of your device so that the problem can be resolve. ASUS usually addresses these issues through their software updates.
As per charging alone. I usually charge my phone only when the battery life level is at 15% and below.

It depends on how you use your phone and for what purpose. If you run heavy apps continuously the battery eventually drains faster than normal. If you play games, especially the ones that require heavy GPU and high RAM requirements, it chews your battery life faster than just surfing your facebook app or browsing the internet. The ASUS Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) is packed with enough hardware requirements to give you a taste of running high performance apps. But of course, software/ app system requirements also vary from whoever developed them, and will also have an effect on how you spend your phone's battery. I suggest having a power bank along will help extend your usage hours for your phone.

The worst experience of battery. Cannot use even half a day. Its been only 1 day since i bought this, already got fedup, nothing good calculates if the battery is draining.

Recently I had purchased zenfone 2 previously was using k3 note. I had return the phone and bought zenfone 2 4gb ram.
I am fully satisfied with the perfomance of the beast. Its buttery smooth and I love the customization of Zen Ui. Trust me guys the zen ui has all the basic functionality for which i need to download the third party app. The functionality of call recorder, app lock feature, themes, fonts, icon packs etc...
Ofcourse, the battery is average as i need to find a charger at end of the day but thats okay for me.
Camera is average as I am not fond of everyday to use it. For regular ussage I am okay and for occasions I have a digital camera.
Apart from above mentioned aspects the phone performs like beast in all aspects.
Initially I was confused to go with moto x play or asus zenfone 2 4gb variant. Moto x play is good enough with huge battery and good camera but performance not the best with heavy ussage but it is remarkable in day to day ussage. I felt I am more use to customization even on vanilla android I will load the ram with all customization apps and will not be able to use it as buttery smooth.
Hence, I choosed asus zenfone 2 and now I can say I am.really satisfied with this boy.

If you want to buy A8, make sure you buy the exynos 5430 version. Not the snapdragon 615 version. As for the snapdragon 615, you might better buy xiaomi mi4i instead.. lol . Be careful before buying. Contact me for further information.
